~I just made up a dozen of these with my PC C&S and froze them. I should say I froze 9 of them because my kids(who've never seen an uncrustables) were so intrigued and excited about circle sandwiches(ds insisted they were pies)that they each grabbed one. And all that work made me hungry so I had one too(ok it was probably more pregnancy hunger than the work...)
I made mine with wheat bread, natural pb and homemade apple jelly.
I wonder how long it takes for them to thaw at room temperature?
Anyway, I just wanted to add that I chopped up the remaining crusts from the 12 sandwiches and weighed the bag before freezing. It was 14.5oz! So that would be a lot of waste if my pbj bread pudding doesn't turn out.
I'll update again when I get the chance to make it!~~Constance
