    They send you a coupon, and you have to redeem it in the store. They say that you will be ID'd, but I've never been ID'd for my free ice cream.

    yeah, they email you a coupon, but it's only good for about 2 weeks, it expires 1 week after your birthday. Not sure if they are serious about checking that though.
