Free McDonald's smoothie or frappe

Today's PARADE magazine (with the Sunday paper) has a coupon for a free McDonald's 12 oz smoothie or frappe, no other purchase required. Coupon expires 8/15/10.

OH thanks. I glance at the papers and read them later. By then the coupon would have expired. This is ironic. Hubby and I went through the drive through the other day and I notieced they had smoothies. I said we will have to try those some time.

We got ours - will probably treat myself to one of their frappes on a day that I need/want a real treat!!

I am wondering also fw2 how you got 8? Did you have to go in 8 different times? The berry smoothy looks good.

What is a frappe never had one? If it tastes like coffee forget it. I can't stand coffee.

The frappes are coffees, the smoothies are berry or some other fruit.

I'm trying to stay away from McDonald's, so I'll be taking my coupon in to work and giving it to someone else to use.

My DD grabbed all 8. Her and her BF will stand in line seperately at the 3 diff area Mcdonalds. They will get used. My DD is MY DD.lol. Free stuff. Neither of the kids is rich. Yes, I buy 6-8 papers every week and have been known to "find" a few more here and there . I didn't get them for the McDonalds coupon but the other coupons in the paper. 4 freepress/4 Oakland free press. Some of the coupons are diff.

DD's opinion is French vanilla frappes don't taste like coffee. IDK.?

I saw that coupon and ripped it out. I do not go to McDonald's but for a free smoothie I will!

I haven't seen the coupon in the paper yet but we have tried the fruit smoothies and the frappes

Our local Mc Donald's was passing out free sample size ones (only a bit smaller than a small) One time they gave everyone at our table a free one. We have received a few free ones when going through the drive thru. They also had a promo for a while that you could get a free one every Friday just go through the drive thru and twll them what kind out would like.

They have handled out coupons in store for free ones or for buy one get one.

At our Mc Donald's they have half price drink times on all drink that includes fruit smoothies frappes, milk shakes etc.

It has been very hot here and the ice cold frappes and fruit smoothies have been delightful.

fw2 thanks for explaining how you got 8. I did call my mom and told her to save the coupon fo rme so that will give me too. We ate at McD on Friday but didn't get the smoothy yet. Will do it another time. The wild berry one looks good.

I LOVE the smoothies. They tested them in certain markets a couple of years ago, and then disappeared! I was not a happy camper. The 12 oz. smoothies only have 210 cal's and are really pretty filling IMHO. I got 2 with my papers then headed to eBay to use my eBay bucks on 2 more Q's!

It really doesn't. I stay away from the frappe's now (I DARE you to look at the cal count lol) but I think they were advertised as just having a hint of coffee "flavor." It's more of a shake if you ask me.

Ok DD has been Free FRappe'd 2x now. Now DH sends me an article about how they are NOT honoring the Smoothies according to the Consumerist. BAD MOVE Clown. We'll see what happens on the way home today at the 3rd Mcdoodles.

I think (hope) that that's about something different. They planned on doing a giveaway...no coupon required, of free samples (5 oz. instead of 12 oz.) for a period of like 4 days this coming week. I don't think that means they're not honoring the coupons from the paper, though.
