Facebook and freebies.....

Now more and more companies are getting on the freeibe bandwagon with facebook and I just wanted to remind any newcomers with freebies that you should make a "freebie" facebook account unless you don't mind getting all their newsfeeds. Just use your freebie email addy when you create your acct.

Any questions, I'm sure there are alot of us who would be happy to help

I don't have a Facebook acct nor want one. But many or most of freebies now, you get the "deal" from your facebook. I don't think that's fair! I'm ready to unsubscribe to one site because most of the freebies mentioned are thru facebook. Oh well....

Freebies tried to catch on through twitter also, that, I don't think, caught on like facebook, but i didn't get a twitter acct for freebies. I do have a facebook acct anyway, I still try to get "regular" freebies, but with facebook you can reach a lot more people quicker so they seem to want to go that way more nowadays. Remember, you don't have to have any of your real info for your facebook acct, and you don't need to have any friends, mine doesn't, well the one I use for freebies

I sign up for them all through my main account, you can hide all the newsfeeds so you don't have to see them.

OK,not up on these things.How do you get freebes through FB?
I am already on FB,but don't use it much.

Some of the freebies I post have facebook pages and you have to "Like" them in order to get your freebie. If u click on one of the freebies we post and it takes you to the facebook sign in page, you need to sign into your facebook page, and after you like the page, or product, they usally give info for the freebie

I feel the same way about all the freebies/giveaways that you need to send a text message on your cell phone. I don't want to get a texting plan just for freebies, but it seems so tempting!

Good point, I wouldn't do the texting thing either, I don't want to deal with them having my cell number and then selling it. I don't give them my home number either, I put area code and 555-5555, it always goes through with that number.
