Has anyone ever heard of this or how well it works? I am always a little sceptical of testimonials on web sites.

I have never heard of this stuff! While getting my girlz nails cut @ PETCO the groomer told me about her dogs had similar problems & it was the dog food. She told me to try Nutro & w/in a few weeks her scratching/biting spots were all healed.

This was after I spent $$$ taking her to the vet for cortisone shots which didn't do anything for her. The groomer said it messes up there immune system not to get anymore cortisone shots for her.

She's got really bad allergies whenever she has to get a shot of any kind the vet gives her Benedryl every since she was a puppy she's had bad welts & swollen puffy eyes, could barely see when getting shots. The 1st time we took her to the vet for shots...the vet told us it should go away overnight but didn't so we're very concerned & as I'm talking to him on the phone he's like yeah that's nothing new speech since we're new parents to this baby pup a little over 8 weeks old so not to worry. She'll be fine just give her Benedryl...& call me in the morning. I felt soo bad for her. She was really scared & not a happy, hyper pup she just laid down rubbing her face/head wimpering. So I took her in the next morning & he gave her a shot of Benedryl & something else which helped.

The vet said she's got food allergies @ another visit since she was biting her tail & we were concerned maybe something happened to her tail since it wasn't wagging & if you know Keona she uses her tail like a whip constantly swinging it so we thought maybe she broke it somehow! Then the vet suggested we watch what we feed her because it's an allergy. He prescribed dog food (sold only @ vets Prescription Diet by Science Diet) He gave me a bag for FREE to try! Now I know it was the doggie cookies she was allergic too & just stayed w/Nutro food.

I bake them home-made cookies when I have time.

The real problem was the shot she got for the new heartworm meds. I found out about this after reading stuff online. She was having a bad reaction I'm lucky she's ok now....when I read about about dog's dying w/in hours of the shot.

My other dog Samantha is alot older w/ arthritis problems, cataracts & were not sure if she's got anything else from this heartworm RX.
