The company is offering customers a complimentary cup of freshly brewed coffee. The offer's good at its more than 7,500 Starbucks around the country between 10 a.m. and noon in a promotion dubbed the National Coffee Break.
Starbucks expects to pour more than 500,000 12-ounce cups. For customers who can't make it to the restaurants, Starbucks employees will take coffee to them using mobile-sampling "Venti Vans" and insulated coffee backpacks
