Default Freebies Make Good Stocking Stuffers

I send for internet freebies throughout the year and throw them all in a drawer (except for the ones I really like), then I use them for stocking stuffers at Christmas. My daughter is a product junkie and likes to try new cosmetics and hair products. This Christmas I'm going to buy her a tote bag and I'll fill it with a bunch of free samples.

That is such a good ideal... I'm trying to think of things for my 19 your old DS. Why are boys so hard to buy for?

I've always though that this was a great idea, the only problem is that all the stockings I stuff are for men! I did get a few freebies I could use last year, but I know that my DH doesn't want lotions, makeup, or cleaning supplies (LOL).

I got some razor blades, sharpie-type markers, and some 3 x 5 or 4 x 6 photo paper samples I did use for his stocking, though.

My mom used to do this for me. She would wrap every tiny little bottle, and tub...it was so much fun just unwrapping all those little surprizes. Thanks for reminding me.

I stopped doing the stockings a few years ago. Just didn't have the money to go out and buy stuff. Unfortunately, my boys would not like deoderant for woman, lotions and other stuff that I have gotten. I never seem to receive 3/4 of the products that I sign up to get.

I don't put mine in the stockings. I keep a basket that I put my freebies in and cute, neat little items I get for a dollar or find on sale. When me or one of my DDs is having a tough time, bad day, something great happens....we get to pick something from the basket.

I went to Google and did a search for "freebies for men" and lots of sites came up. I went into a few of them and saw freebies such as car wash towels, men's cologne, razors, shaving cream, trading cards, t-shirts etc. So freebies for men do exist, we just have to know where to find them.
