    Be spellbound as we celebrate the release of the final Harry Potter book: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Wizards and Muggles alike are invited to spend an enchanted evening together as we count down to midnight and the release of the seventh and final book in the Harry Potter series.

    Each registered guest attending the party will be able to check out one copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows after the witching hour of midnight.

    So grab some Floo Powder or your Nimbus 2007 and make your way to the library for a great time.

    Last Train to Hogwarts Party

    Food and beverages

    Nosebleed nougats? Fizzing whizbees? Pumpkin juice? Canary creams? Sample Hogwart delicacies in the lobby. 10 pm – Midnight

    Music by the Wizard Rock Band Oliver Boyd and the Rememberalls Meeting Room 10pm - 11 pm

    Creation projects and activities for younger wizards at Hogsmeade (in the Youth Activity Center) Learn licorice wand making from the skilled confectioners of Honeydukes Sweetshop. Create book covers from the masters at Flourish and Blott’s. Make butterbeer just as they serve it at Madam Rosemerta’s The Three Broomsticks. 10 - 11:30 pm

    Dance Revolutionwill be played on a big screen in the Youth Room. All ages may play.
    10pm - 11:30 pm

    Alex Oeming as MisDirXwill perform magical feats. Youth Room 10pm - 11:30 pm

    Motor City Ferretswill display live ferrets and talk about ferret rescue. The ferrets will be under the Reading Tree in the Youth Services area. 10 - 11:30 pm

    Harry Potter Trivia ContestCan you pass the O.W.Ls? Test your knowledge of all things Harry Potter at the Adult Information Desk (prizes will be awarded at the end of the evening). 10 – Midnight pm

    Bonus Trivia Contest The next level of O.W.L.s will be administered in the Meeting Room (prizes will be awarded at the end of the evening). 11 pm — Midnight

    Costume Parade through the Library.(See if you can spot Madam Pince.) Begins in the Young Adult Room at 11:15 pm.

    Hogwarts Costume Contest Wear your best wizardly duds to compete in our Hogwarts costume contest being held in the lobby (prizes will be awarded at the end of the evening). 11:30 pm – Midnight

    MidnightWhen the clock strikes midnight, prizes will be bestowed on the winners of the Trivia and Costume Contests.
    One copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be available for each registered guest to check out.

    Registration is required to attend the Last Train to Hogwarts Party and to be eligible to check out a copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows at the end of the evening.
    ***Registration for the party requires a current West Bloomfield Township Public Library card.***
    Registration begins on June 16 at 9 AM and ends on Thursday July 19 at 6 PM. Anyone under fifteen years of age must be accompanied by an adult who is at least twenty-one years of age.
    Registrants may bring up to three family members or guests to the party, but only the registrant is eligible to check out a copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
