Arrow I may be getting a free sofa/ chair

from my friend I work for.
Her hubby is home this week and they want to buy a new leather set. Hers will have to be literaly taken apart in the back and vacumned well from all the ground in food from the kids then steam cleaned all over. Buts it worth it. If I cant get the stains out I'll put my afghans on them till I get covers bought or made.
Wish me luck they get it this week.

Good Luck! Nothing feels as good as sitting on a free couch. I can count on one hand with fingers left over how many things I actually bought for my house.

That's great I hope it works out for you! My leather set has some torn seams and is alittle beat up looking. I'd love to have another set for my livingroom and put that in our den. But it will have to wait for awhile. I'm getting my EF started and paying off CCs. Maybe a Free one will come my way!

well im getting it tomorrow. Hubby will pick it up when they call since he's close in town.
the only gross thing I know k how many times their 2 yr old daughter peed on the couchons. ughhh Mother had problem with reinforcing diapers and clothes .
I'm going to buy the urine remover for animals from Walmart extra stength and soak the 3 cushions off in the bath tub and soak. then press out with lots of towels and put in furnace room to dry.
If that dont work and I smell the least little bit of anything out they go---sears is the only place to replace couchons here. Not cheap but at least I'll know there clean and i wont have to worry about smell.
I'll vacumn it well all over then steam clean it twice. the color will fade some but once it's done Ill take pics.

    So I'll

Well, looks like you'll be having your work cut out for you, but Yay it's FREE! Glad you got it. They have a product called Urine Be Gone. I think it's made for pets, but probably would do the trick for you.

yes never got time to pick it up tonite___the urine remover. so tomorrow nite plus the vinegar.
Im tired right out from the chair 2 hours later, 4 large dry towels.
gum, pee smell, icing, and lots of ground in clay. washed by hand then used dry towels till it come clean as can be.
then vinegar-to remove soap residue, then saturday the urine remover. I see what it says on the bottle when i buy it if i have to rinse after. Then maybe Ill vinegar after instead.
