Default Sort of a mixed topic question

Can someone with food stamps use coupons to make their food stamp allotment go further?

    Was wondering.

Yes, they can not stop you from using coupons. They can and will however tax you on the coupons which ends up being just as much as tax on your food depending how many coupons you use. We've had food stamps and used coupons. I got mad because the whole point is to save on the taxes. Which they are circumventing by charging tax on the coupons. It's darned if you do, darned if you don't. =)
