That's great. I love the Bulk Barn, and I did most of my christmas shopping there! Weird, I know, but I was making things with hot chocolate powder and popcorn kernels.
Watch out for their prices though. I compared it with our regular grocery store, and for most things it was actually equal or more expensive there. It is a lot less packaging though, so if you're looking for the environmental benefits, it the best.

I buy yeast, spices and popcorn there. They have a white popcorn that pops up without those hard husks, much nicer than the regular stuff. Sometimes their raisins are cheaper, occasionally I will pick up a few things when they have a $3 coupon off a $10 purchase or if I only need a small amount of something. They also sell a good variety of specialty bakewake and such if you are into fancy cake making or anything.
Otherwise, be very careful, they're prices are generally a lot higher than other stores. I've priced out things like white sugar, flour and other baking supplies and staples and they are way more - in some cases more than twice as much as the grocery store.
I used to shop there anyway to cut down on packaging, until it occurred to me that putting everything in their little plastic bags was as bad or worse than what the items were packed in at the regular store.

I've heard a lot of people talk about buying spices there. How are the prices for herbs and spices?
Also, which city did they open in? (I'm a country girl).
