Sorry you are losing a store that you like. I really do love Target, though. Too much, I have to stay out of it. heeheee!!

Target is awesome. It is so clean and quiet. No one yelling over a speaker system. They have coupons on their website to print out and they stack them too.

Also I recycle # 1 plastic at my local Target. It's the only place around that does.

We aren't getting a Target! We have Zeller's stores, but from what I've heard, none are being converted to Target! I guess we're too small a city for it? Too bad.

You know, that's the one mistake American firms seem to make when they come to Canada. They go by the size of the community when deciding what size store to put there. What they really need to do is go by the size of the service area, which is much larger. There is no major center within 3 hours of us. A Target store would have plenty of customers!

The Zeller's across the street here is one of the one's that has been slated to become a target, and we're so psyched in the neighbourhood.

However the people who still work in the store are just miserable and sad and slow. I always liked Zeller's stuff - especially the men's clothes, but now its just so bleak there. I'll be glad when the changeover happens.

I know - I'm excited too! Recently, DH and I went to a US Target just so we could compare (as well as pick up a few things). I do know the Zellers that are transitioning in the first round are going to start liquidating in May before they close in June/July. Imagine the sales/bargains to be found!

Pretty excited here! I've yet to walk into a target, but I've seen and heard many things. I also haven't visited a Zellers in a while.

I love Target. They bend over backwards with customer service.

Do enjoy going to Target. Just glad it is hard to get to, otherwise I could be in trouble. ; )

Well I was in a Target on a recent trip to Minot, ND...and didn't buy a thing. It was just like Zellers and Walmart to me. Hmm...I don't think I will miss not having one. Now Lowe's...I am happy to say is in our community. But not with the selection they have in the US...unfortunately.
