Today has been kind of lazy.

I'm not babysitting today (sadface), but I had to wake up early and drive DH to work anyway. Then I came home and let DS sleep some more while I sat around and played computer games. Then the lady I babysit for dropped off my money (woo!) and then DS and I took a shower.

Now I'm vegging out again, and I do not have the urge to do anything.

Things I do need to do:
    -Wash the dishes
-Wash the grapes, pull off vine and throw in the freezer before they get icky
    -Eat lunch
    -Put money in the bank
-Go pick up DH @ 1:00, and take him to his work event
    -Buy milk
    -Figure out something for dinner

    I feel so unmotivated today.

DJ~I hope you don't get rained on at the game tonight.

I've just been on the phone and finishing up laundry. I had to call the trash company (we're being forced into using certain companies in St.Louis county), made Senior picture appointments (wow, that's already cost me some bucks) and a few other calls.

Dh finished his job early today and is home relaxing now. Not much else on the list other than going to Dd7's soccer game.

After getting DD17 off to school, I went back to sleep. YAY! LOL! I've been busy this morning though. I swished and swiped the two downstairs bathrooms; emptied the dishwasher and reloaded; two loads of clothes are washed, dried and folded; one more load in the dryer; and I made Sloppy Joes for DD19 and I for lunch and leftovers for DH's supper and enough for another meal that I put in the freezer. Go me! Tonight, DD19 and I are going to the High School football game... DD17 is in the marching band. The game is an hour and a half away! We won our first two games, hope we do as well tonight.

So far today, Got the kids up and off to school. Let the baby sleep for a while, when he woke we went for a walk, while we were out I checked the mail and ran in the store for some milk and a couple of other things, then we walked back.

Since then I have got some laundry done, and I have a ton of other things to do.

Tonight 12 of us are going out to supper for my grandmothers 92nd birthday. The kids are staying with DH's grandmother. Should be a nice break.

Other then that not much on the go.

Some neighborhood moms and I are doing a preschool co-op and it is my week so I just spent two hours doing activities with seven four year-olds and now they are gone!

I am going to clean house, do laundry and then I am off to pick FREE corn with my family tonight

So I guess the weekend will be spent canning pears and freezing corn. Oh and I have to give a talk in church Sunday so I need to polish my writing up and get it typed.

turning the pc off at night

I am home sick with a head cold today. I woke up early this morning and couldn't go back to sleep so I:

Cleaned and organized the contents of the fridge and freezer and food cupboard in the kitchen.

Swept and Swiffered the kitchen floor.

    Ran dishwasher, unloaded and reloaded.

Now I am in the middle of cleaning our home office (the last room on my list for fall cleaning). I cleaned my half of the office and now I am looking at my fiance's side and I feel like a nap! He may have to dust his own desk and bookshelf.

I just took more cold medicine and I am ready for an afternoon nap.

Not very frugal, but I hope my fiance brings home dinner. Soup would be nice and then I can add my own crackers to it. I might have to call and ask him if he would do that (then I will clean his side of the room as a nice surprise for him...after my nap).

I'm cleaning the kitchen today. We have had a visit by a blasted mouse. I had clean dishes drying on the counter and he was under them. Well we caught him, I just hope he didn't bring any friends with him. I've cleaned the stove inside and out, cleared the counters and sanitized them, emptied everthing out of the 4 drawers and sanitized them. I just put dinner in the oven and cleaned out my spice tray. I still have the pots and pan cabinet to do. Geez I hate mice!!!! Oh well I chalk it up to living in the country.

Got my crock pot of soup going...using things I already have here at home! That will feed us for the next 3 days, at least. (Will do cereal-type food for breakfast).

Dh sold something on eBay! Woo-hoo!! Stuff out of my house and money in the bank!! So, he's got to run to the post office today...

Just studying at home today...oh, and gonna exercise! Thinking about making some cornbread to go with the soup?

(also posted this in the challenges section...tryin' to keep myself accountable! )
