Frugal Friday

Good Morning! How are you today? Hopefully everyone is fine, and in good health.

I am sitting here just browsing the net, but will get off after this post. I have housework to do, and need to get to it.

Wasn't too frugal here today. Dh had to get gas, and we bought 4 biscuits at the store.

I work today, so after housework is finished I will be getting ready for that.

Sherry, I hope your tooth stops hurting. It's amazing how something so little can be so painful.

I have TONS of laundry and cleaning to do. I'm still trying to play catch-up from when we were all sick and not motivated to do much of anything.

Fortunately, other than the $.30 for Kathryn's milk money, there will be no money spent today

Not very frugal here.Over $560 went on bills!! Don't ya just hate paying bills?!!! Course we like power and water,so I guess we gotta pay them!

wrote checks out for bills
picked up living
one load laundry

Still to do:
More laundry
fold and put away clothes
sweep
clean bathroom
mail bills
mail ebay packages
Bake banana nut bread

Good morning all.
Today I have a Subway mystery shop to do for lunch
Then I have to buy everything except the lobsters for my birthday dinner.
I am going to make an applesauce bread with the homemade applesauce I have.
Its looks like its going to be a dreary day

Breakfast coffee
Lunch Subway
Dinner chicken and broccolii casserole with rice.

It's raining here so, no yard saling for me........

I have just a bit of housework to do.....
DD has doctor's appt today...
No school yesterday or today, parent/ teacher conf......
Finish Halloween costumes (I am way behind)
Finish crafts.......

Well I cant decide if today is grocery day or tomorrow. If its today it will be noon before I go.
if tomorrow, I will leave at 7.
I had such a long day yesterday and little sleep so I am headed off for a nap! (went to bed at 130 got up to get dh at 430) Me on less that 6 hrs sleep is just flat scary!
And I do not mean looks, those are always scary! LOL
Other than that I have to rewash clothes. It was LS causing the rash, I told dh that! I knew that fab stuff stunk!
then clean bathrooms reorganize my ofice space so dh can upgrade my pc. ( Stuff comes today! wooohoo!)

Well, today started out with a bit of a scare. My Mom called at 4:50 am to tell me that she and my Dad were at the emergency room because he was having chest pains. So, I called the substitute service and called another teacher with my plans and then headed over to the hospital. After a few hours and many tests, he is okay, NOT a heartattack. He is going to be seeing a cardiologist and they are going to watch him very carefully. I'm so relieved he's okay, but I'm hoping it is a wake-up call to him about his health. He is very overweight, diabetic, asthmatic, high-blood pressure, and he doesn't take care of himself. Hopefully now he will. Anyway, here's the rest of my day (plans have obviously changed for the day since I took the day off).

Went to breakfast with dh and fil (after the hospital) for dh's birthday (dh had already taken the day off for his birthday, so I was added to the breakfast fun) We fought fil for the check, but he wanted to pay.
Dh and I are going to a movie with the remaining two Kellogg's movie passes which makes them free.
Pick up dh's cake (he HAS to have an ice cream cake from a local dairy) $20.00
Out to dinner with dd, dh, and fil (which fil is also insisting on paying for)

Chores:
Still need to:
Sweep and vacuum
start laundry (might as well start today since I'm home!)
clean out crockpot from last night's dinner (I was TOO tired last night)
clean out basement

Yesterdays visit to the OB was kind pf a bummer. I am still dialated at 3 and she hasnt dropped anymore. I know its still early but with dh's boss being out of town the 1st - 8th, that leaves dh the only one who can manage the store...how is he supposed to come to the hospital if its during the day? ANYWAY...

i also found out I have that Group B strep bacteria stuff?? i have never had it before...but now I have to be sure and get to the hospital right away when I start labor so I can get on antibiotics. interesting....

Well today I have done:
made bed
everyone up and fed and ready
load in dryer
vacuumed whole house, mopped floors
dishes

To do:
put stuff back in kitchen (from mopping)
fold laundry/put away
wash bathroom mirror(the girls like to draw on it after bathtime)
lunch
naps
paint pumpkins with girls! YEAH. this will be fun and interesting

B-oatmeal and banana
L-PB&J,sliced oranges,pretzels
D-Fried cabbage and noodles

Sherry nothing hurts like a toothache I think I have had children with less pain. I am glad you are going to the dentist.

tnschaffer I had group B strep with my last pregnancy I read a lot of horrible stories on the web and was scared to death, but everything was fine.

Today I have to
pick up house
2 loads of laundry
finish halloween costumes the kids have a party to go to tonight
walmart (yuck)
clean out my van and vacuum it

I'm off to a slow start as I slept in since I'm off work today.

Done:
*washed & dried 1 load of laundry
*cleaned kitchen
*made bed
*made egg salad for lunch

To do:
*vacum den
*go to Eckerd's
*go to Walmart (maybe)
*iron
*finish laundry

Well today I finally got my daughter to eat something since her surgery which was Tuesday, so that was a major plus. My dishwasher broke again ao I have a pile to wash. Clothes are waiting for me and calling my name. The house looks wrecked, a nephew was over yesterday and he is two, need I say more. I am glad that you are getting your tooth fixed Sherry, those are awful painful. I have to clean the bathrooms, go pay bills, cook who knows what for dinner,start making Halloween bags and other house stuff. Plus if I can scrape up the money I have to go by the grocery store as well. Hope everyone has a good day.

I'm back from the dentist.
He numbed it up (ahhh BIG sigh of relief) and I have to take antibiotics and go back for a root canal.
Just thought I'd update ya.

talked to my dad
got a trade ready to mail out
cleaned bathroom
made bed
got 2 more children books for trade
checked emails
took medicine
I might do some more decorating later today & I also need to get my mail & bring my garbage back from the curb
