2-20-09 What's everyone up to today?

It's going to be cold today, so a good day to get some housework done. I don't have anywhere I "have" to be today, yay!

Accomplished:
-cooked breakfast
-kids on the bus to school
-coffee made
-washed the skillet from yesterday
-fed the dog
-scrubbed the hall toilet

yet to do:
-finish the mountain of laundry
-do some genereal cleaning throughout the whole house
-leftovers for supper

On my lunch break i am running to the library to get Roses are Red by James Patterson.

I got out of bed... I reached my goal for today!!!!

I think my 'sniffles' has become a full-blown sinus infection so I will be skipping the other bday party I was invited to today. Take a nice shower, get in to a pair of snuggly jammies and get some chicken soup lovin in me.

I am very excited that its Friday!!!!! Here's my outlook for today:

~ work
~ laundry
~ dinner
~ take and pick up from a birthday party DS#1
~ sit down with DH and revamp which accounts our money goes in (As we are attempting to live off of his income other than the mortgage payments we really need to rearrange things to simplify)
~ finish up one set of family memebers taxes
~ quick clean of the house
~ finalize weekend plans
~ and of caorse play at the village

I love Fridays!

Already done:
~unload dishwasher
~swish & swipe bathroom
~get dressed to shoes, fix hair & face
~start a load of laundry
~shine my kitchen sink
~make my bed

Things to do:
~finish laundry (2 loads today)
~make dinner
~sweep & vacuum floors
~wipe down and vacuum laundry area
~work on the budget
~work on sewing project

Preparing for a party tommorrow.
Spent yesterday cleaning the house from top to bottom today is food day.

So far have:
Made lemon bars
Deviled Eggs
Jalopena Poppers
Citrus Mini tarts
Lemon Freeze
Lemoneade
As you can see I'm using up the bushel of free lemons I got from the neighbor!
Preparing to bake 3 chickens for chicken salad

Wash dogs!

After 2 days of straight migraines, accourding to hubby I am spose to take it easy today! But I'll get some cleaning in the kitchen done and dinner going in the crockpot too. I have a few loads of laundry that need to be done.
And spend the day praying the migraine stay away!!

Well I'm suppose to be at work, but I woke up around 2am with a whopper of a pounding headache, and crampy stomach. I think I've got a touch of the flu bug that is vacationing in Ohio. I plan to do nothing except baby myself. I will heat up leftovers for dinner and do dinner dishes but that's it.

I managed to get DD to school and DH off to work on time. Although we all over slept by an hour.

DS and I are going to have lunch with DH and then pick up DD's information packet for her new job. She just got the call last night telling her she was hired. She is going to be working for a AA minor baseball team. It's her first job and she is so excited.

Once I pick her up from school she will go straight to my mom's for the weekend. Then drop DS off at the in-laws for tonight and most of the day tomorrow. Yesterday was our 17th wedding anniversary so with the kids gone DH and I are gong out. Not sure what we are doing, yet.

Then I'm going to use a gift certificate I got for Christmas for a mini facial and 30 minute massage. I can't wait for that!

After that, I guess I'm going home. It should be an easy day.

Well, I spent all morning trying to get a hold of the cable company to get my Internet back up & running. Obviously, it's back up. I also had them fix an issue with the cable while I had them on the phone.

The only things to do today are:
~vacuum
~litter boxes
~pick up
~wash breakfast dishes
~laundry

Here's whats gotten done:
~got up & took DH to work
~Got the kids up and fed breakfast
~DS had a pajama party at preschool so I had to run around and find his sleeping bag!
~Got both kids to school
~Ran around and shopped sales & did most of my grocery shopping
~Came back and did menu planning
~Took DH a hot lunch (left over hamburger on a hot dog bun (running low on supplies before picking up groceries) and chicken noodle soup)
~Picked up DS from preschool
~Took DH a gallon of water, since he ran out
~Mixed up a green tea, PB & banana smoothie for lunch and made DS lunch

Still today, I need to:
~Clean up the kitchen & do dishes
~Get laundry done & put away everything folded (I hate that part)
~Get to Aldi's & Farm and Fleet for the rest of groceries and dog food
~pick up DS from school
~Pick up DH from work
~Maybe go to the gym
~Figure out and prepare dinner
~Cut my soap and set it out to cure for 3 weeks!

There is so much more that I would like to do today, but it is already 12:30, so I don't think I am going to have time for much more!
