Good Friday plans?
The kids are off to school (1/2 day). They didn't get spring break because they had to make up days from the ice storm. I need to clean today and get a head start on some cooking. We are having our family Easter dinner tomorrow with my family. It's cloudy and rainy and I just want to curl up with a good book......I need to kick myself in the butt and get motivated, lol.

DD is off from school today, so me and thousand of other parents are going to stand in line trying to get our little Princesses tickets to see the Hannah Montana movie...
Later in the afternoon she leaves for my ex's house, and I will run through the grocery store.
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

Oh my gosh! Lady_V, get ready for mass histeria! A friend of mine stood in line for Hannah tickets awhile back and she said it was like watching a mini-beatles frenzy! She said she had never seen anything like it! So, I'm sure it'll be fun!
The kids are off here today too. I think we are going to dye Easter Eggs, and other than that, I have no idea what we'll be doing, but I'll have to find some way to keep them busy!

My plans for today?
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!
DD has been serving as a Legislative Page this week for the Senate so our normal schedule was all messed up. Since that is over and there is no school we are not doing a thing. DH has gone to work, the kids are sleeping in and I am just bumming around on the couch.
If I get the urge, I might do a little cleaning. But don't count on it.
If the rains holds off and the kids want to I will drop them off at the zoo for a couple of hours later on this morning.Last edited by Neeley; 04-10-2009 at 08:44 AM.

Today is the girls' first day of Spring Break. Not much planned here. We aren't going anywhere. Just chores & knitting for me. I think dh & I have to go pick up a gift when he gets home from work...

We had friends over last night so I need to finish cleaning up after that.
I also have to deliver newspapers this morning, which should take a couple hours. Delivering newspapers is one of the perks of being married to an editor of a new weekly paper.
After delivering paper, I plan on going to my DH's office to help answer the phone and work on the booking keeping.
Sometime today I also need to to turn in a job application to do respite care (I already have the job, but need to get the paperwork into the office).
We will also be attending Good Friday services tonight and have a simple meal of leftovers or soup.Julie

Since DD2 was sick yesterday evening (throwing up, etc.) I decided to stay home this morning with the girls while DH went to church for a breakfast and Good Friday service. DD2 woke up feeling much better, so the girls are playing and I'm tidying and surfing FV. I've told the girls that they can't watch TV until after DD2 wakes up from her afternoon nap, and so far they've been playing quite nicely together using their imaginations.

I finished my to do list yesterday so today I just have laundry, cooking and dishes. DH is off today but DS and I have to work. Will be taking time to do some on-line gaming with DH since we don't get to do that very often, this evening.

Today is the start of my 3 day weekend and I will be quietly folding towels, sorting papers, and going through pics until fiancee gets up to go to work. Then I'll have to fix dinner and get some housework done.

Grading mega papers today. Tonight our community has a Good Friday Cross-Walk, where hundreds of us gather to carry a cross through the streets, singing and praying as we go.
Spiritual:

Dh had the day off, so we took the kids to the Rochester Museum & Science Center. It was great. It was a bit of a drive for us, but since we are members of the Buffalo Museum of Science, we got in for free AND it was free admission for the planatarium movie which was all about the spring sky. So...what would have cost us $72 was FREE. (well, we did buy lunch there and we had to pay for gas).
If you like museums/zoos, I would highly recommend becomming a member at your local zoo and science museum. You can get into so many others for free then. Our membership has already paid for itself.

Today was our last day of Spring Break. I had to sing at the Good Friday service and then we dyed Easter Eggs when I got home. We went to Barnes and Noble to get a birthday gift for a party dd is going to tomorrow. Dh picked up plain pizza for dinner (Thank goodness this is the last Friday he can't eat meat!) and then we played music, I read, and now I'm watching Dollhouse.
All in all, a relaxing day!My Blog: http://amysreallife.com
