Frugal Friday 4/24

What are your plans for the day?

For me, today is housework, housework, & more housework. So I don't have to do any this weekend

I've already:
~washed breakfast dishes
~picked up the living room
~vacuumed the area rugs in the living room, dining room, kitchen, my bedroom, and front foyer
~vacuumed the front stairs (my back is killing me!)
~cleaned off the kids' computer desk
~cleaned off my computer desk (dh is going to be so proud!)

Still need to:
~wash/dry/fold/put away laundry
~make the bed
~take something out for dinner
~clean the kitchen surfaces (waiting until after lunch to declutter)
~knit
~pick up the girls
~take dd16 to the SPCA/pick her up an hour later
~make dinner

Let's see...

Shower

DH went to 'meet a guy about a tool' and then he wants me to 'lift him up in the backhoe to fix his cameras in the trees'.

so, let's see, that will take about 3 hours......

Wash bed linens.

Knit.

Bake buns for the hamburgers tonight.

Nap. (slept lousy last night)

Make dinner.

So far today I have:
-2 loads of laundry
-ran the dishwasher
-washed the grill plates on the foreman grill
-picked up the house
-gone to a couple of thrift stores (DS needed some t-shirts)
-stopped by DH's work and visited with him at lunch
-balanced the checkbook

Plan to do:
-wash my nasty car
-vacuum my nasty car
-finish laundry
-leftovers for supper
-treadmill for 30 min.
-plant some flowers

I am working til 5 then:

Fixing a quick dinner
Taking DD and foster kids to the children's theater at the high school
Hoping to do a quick clean of the house so I can enjoy the beautiful weather that is upon us for the weekend!!

Well I'm trying to accomplish as much as I can today, I took and unexpected day off...Ds is sick with a viral throat infection. So I went to the eye doctor, then to the pharmacy for Ds's prescriptions. Went to the thrift store, but no good finds. Came home, have done dishes, laundry, have dough rising for bread and a soup started on the stove, using a leftover chicken carcass from last night's dinner. Then after an early dinner we will go to the YMCA for some swimming for the the boys and some exercise for me! Home to watch Library DVD's and Read library books!

I will be working later tonight but this morning I went to the mall to spent a giftcard that I had won. I got new measuring cups and spoons. YA! I am so excited to use them tomarrow.

My Dh took some games in to game stop and they paid him more then he thought they would for them.

I took cans to recycling center today and got $16 which I proudly put toward a small doctor bill. I also put $6 in change from our jar into our savings account. I had to call the court house for info on marriage license. Once my fiancee woke up we got showers and just had to go for a ride on the Harley it was just a perfect day for it. Then we came home and took the plastic off of the long side of our porch and put the 2 air conditioners in the windows. I fixed a pizza for dinner. After my fiancee left for work I made up cole slaw for Sunday dinner and did the dishes. Now it's time for relaxing.
