Today, I'm not going into a store. Brick and mortar or on-line.

It's beautiful here today so I plan to get some work outside done. I have to get to the bank sometime today and cash a check.

My day has started out horribly, so I am hoping it can only get better. I spent 2 hours making cupcakes for DS's birthday at school today, only to have them topple and dropped them on the driveway as I was loading the car! And then to top it off, I was out of sweetner, so I couldn't have coffee (maybe that is why I dropped the cupcakes! )

So, today, I'll be picking up the house, doing some laundry and possibly mowing and weeding the garden. Other than that, maybe some crafting!

    sorry about the cupcakes Sarah...

work today, and hopefully relax with a glass of wine tonight.

I just sent my landlord my rent check and officially gave notice that I will be moving out. I'm buying my own house and closing June 30th so writing that letter was quite exiciting and nerve racking.

    Busy Friday here! I've already:

~paid the trash bill (in person to save on a stamp lol)
~went to the credit union to deposit ds's birthday check
~went to Target to make a return
~went to Price Chopper to get cat litter (free after coupon)
~taken meat out of the freezer for dinner
    ~started a load of laundry

The rest of my list looks like this:
    ~clean downstairs bathroom
    ~finish laundry
~clean out fridge (didn't get to it yesterday)
~work on our cat lapbook (school stuff)

    Hey Yankee Mom,
Aren't lap books fun? I LOVED them when my teens were younger. It's really the only kind of 'project' I ever enjoyed associated with homeschooling, except maybe teaching the dissection class to our high school kids in co-op.

OOOPPPS! Here's my list for today
Get to the bank, and pay some bills. Although, today is an 'extra' payday, all I'm really doing is feeding the budget envelopes and doing some bookwork.
    Shower (later - that's why I'm using the bank drive-up )
Register for my college graduation in Albany New York in July (I finished my degree online 35 years after starting it!!)
Work 3pm to 9 pm at one clients, caring for an adorable 1 year old who just got out of the hospital (she's on a ventilator at home)
Then driving an hour and working 10pm to 7 am with another client who has TWO ventilator dependent children.
After above clients are in bed, trying to get some middle of the night work done, like our June budget, grocery list, menu plans and such

After work I need to pick up 2 cards (graduation & birthday) & get them ready to mail. The birthday one will be late, but how was I to know they wouldn't visit & why waste a stamp if you don't have to. Need to start my weekend laundry tonight since I'm way behind. Also, supper & dishes then some reading maybe.

~Took ds to orthodontist (paid for already).
~Stopped as a treat and got 2 bags of cinnamon twists for kids to share. ($1.80) Not bad but I wonder what they'll do when they grow up and find out other people don't split this stuff.
