    Default Frugal Friday 6/3

    Really, no thread today? Well, I'll start one. I have a tendency to post what I did do rather than what I had planned for the simple reason of I get on the computer in the afternoons! So, what did you get done today?

    I had my 4th no-spend day this week! WooHoo! Great leadup for the weekend. Hoping to have at least 1 no spend day this weekend, too. We really need the money for our upcoming trip.

    I did laundry, helped the kids clean their rooms, changed the sheets on the bed, played with the kids, prepared lunch, cleaned, played with the kids, hopped on the computer, prepared dinner, ate dinner (I think I ate sometime else in there... ) And now back on the puter. Not much of a day, but my faves. I get to really focus on playtime on days like this, rather than "What time is it? We have to leave in x minutes, get your stuff", etc.

    I've had BIL and SIL and their 5 kids here for the last 3 days/nights. (I was in FV withdrawal) and they just left at noon today. WHEW!

    They are fun, and the kids make us laugh our heads off, but whoa---I'm not used to the noise anymore! LOL! I saw them off with a big breakfast/brunch and did dishes, now I'm relaxing (and laundering sheets/blankets/towels). WHAT a week!

    And--I never spent so much on groceries in my LIFE! The oldest is 15 and the youngest is 4. And they are picky eaters and only ate certain things.

    DH and I are having an EASY dinner tonight!

    Well today was a day off and we had lots of errands to run in the town 35 miles away. Our printer went out, our binoculars broke, and our toilet needed new guts since it was starting to run too long. So needless to say today was a spend day. Now those have all been taken care of and hubby has gone to work so I need to wash dishes.

    today was another no spend day. just hung round the house with the kiddos. supper was done in crock pot made pot roast with rice on side. lunch was a nice salad for me kids n uncle had dogs n beans..ugh. just got in a lil bit ago n took a shower..so sweaty and icky. hub and 2 of our boys went for a nice walk on the beach. we r trying to this often everynight when we can.now we r all kicking back n watching tv and i am here. have a good night all!
