~Today I'm packing for a weekend in PA to visit my in-laws, baking goodies to take, washing a couple loads of blankets, sweeping the floors, catching up the dishes, homeschooling and exercising.
Hope everyone has a lovely day!~

It's been a super busy morning! I got up early, got the kids up early too. It snowed a little last night so DS8 was excited to see it covering the tops of cars & houses. It's gone now though.

I went to the book sale at the library, got some GREAT deals (already made a post about it ) and stopped by the insurance adjuster's to get an estimate on the minor fender bender we had back on Labor Day weekend.

Now I'm home nursing a headache while the boys check out the books & stuff I got. Later I have to take DD17 to work. Sometime today I need to get caught up on Flash Forward, my Thursday show that's on while I'm at Knit Night.

First, get rid of this dang headache!

I went to bed at 8am after a LONG night at work with my favorite baby patient. Miracle of miracles, I slept until almost 1:30pm!!! You cannot imagine how GOOD that felt!

Called my employer about yet another problem with my paycheck, found out that they finally got rid of the payroll lady (my check, and everyone else's is wrong about a third of the time)

Made some yummy fried chircken and rice for dinner

Got a few dishes to finish up as DH took the teens to swim practice - big meet tomorrow, and I have to get DS up at 5:30 in the morning to get to warm-up on time-that will not be fun as he is definitely not a morning person!!!

I've got some leftover Granny Smith apples in the fruit bowl, and am thinking about making a cobbler to surprise my hungry swimmers after practice!!

Furlough Friday - I spent the morning putzing around the house and sewing the Thanksgiving runner I am sending to friends in St. Louis who have adopted DD!! Think I may make up some of the flour sack towels to match - that is if I can find the flour sacking - I know it's in a safe place in the sewing room!! LOL!!

Change of plans for tonight already - was going to have a peaceful and quiet night at home while DH went to a soccer coaches training on the other side that he is sponsoring. Well... instead, I am going with him. He is still not feeling well and also not sleeping well and I don't want him driving an hour each way by himself. So we'll leave here around 4:30 after my physical therapy. I may even go to the mall to check it all out - have not done that in years AND (drum roll please) I may even go to a movie - a rare luxury in this house!!

Better get ready to leave, have a great evening all!!

I slept until almost 8:30 a. m. this morning. That is like sleeping until noon for me!

Hubby was home today; so I made breakfast for us. He had coffee made when I got up - WOO HOO! We took the Harley to run errands - bank, post office, and a package to FedEx. Then we stopped at a couple of garage and estate sales. We didn't buy anything.

We came home and ate lunch. This is HUGE because hubby always wants to stop and get fast food. I keep telling him NO we have all sorts of food at home. He is getting with the program.

Over the last two days I removed, washed, and air dried all the covers for the cushions and pillows on the couch, loveseat, and chair. I JUST finished putting them all back on.

We helped a friend get his garage in his new house set up (party room) yesterday. Hubby is helping him finish up now. He will come to pick me up and take me to the party shortly - WOOHOO! Big night for us!

Let's see, I did my 8 hours at work and then came straight home like all little Frugal ladies should do. Haven't done much other than fix dinner since DH just left for work. Now it's my time. After I'm done here I need to do dishes, and then I plan on going to bed and getting in some reading.Hope everyone has a relaxing night.
