    Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

We've postponed Christmas until after our move, EXCEPT for the meal. So I've got a ham in the oven, potatoes peeled, and rolls thawing. Forgot about dessert, and since we've been packing, all I had ingredients for was chocolate chip cookies. So I made the dough, and I think we're going to just eat the dough!!!

Watching A Christmas Story on TV - it's my favorite. We watched It's A Wonderful Life and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation last night with DD#1, who is currently asleep on the couch - snoring!

It's been very stress-free, and I'm thinking I might just postpone Christmas every year!!!

Great day so far. We did presents and everyone was happy, and the fact that many were were used didn't matter. We've snacked all day and played games. DD and I took a long walk through the woods. Dh will be home from work about 6pm and we'll have a nice dinner. I'm content, and isn't that what we're aiming for?

    Merry Christmas!

We're to the part of Christmas Day when everyone is relaxing/napping and putting their feet up. It's been a wonderful day.

Merry Christmas! We are staying put. It is raining, the wind is blowing and it's icy. Don't ever remember a christmas like this??

Luckily,we had gift opening last night. DD is still sleeping from playing Wii all hours of the night,I have been reading my new Stephen King book "Under the Dome", DS has been playing Maple Story because he got a NX card. DH has been reading and programming remotes (his favorite). The company also sent him a new phone so he's in geek heaven. Later we will have roast and cheesy hashbrowns w/ roll. Choc ice cream and hot fudge. Brownies?? We'll see. Pretty Lazy right now.lol.
    Happy Day off Everyone.

We just finished our wonderful brunch and are just relaxing now. Although it rained during the night, the sun is out and shining on all!! Don't know what the rest of the day will bring, but we are up to enjoying it all!!

Sunny here too for the first time in several days. Chilly, but a nice day for kids who got outside toys.

I started the day working on a puzzle with a pot of tea that got stone cold. I was so engrossed in the puzzle I forgot to drink it. Rescued via microwave while I play here.

Not much planned. I was going to rearrange the dining room. I may still do that later, or maybe not.

New recipe tonight: Austrian Pork Stew with Apples and Cranberry Sauce. It's called a stew, but looks more like just a skillet dish to me. I have the pork loin chops thawing.

We had our family party at my sons last night and opened our gifts there and had supper with all (-2) of our children and and (-4) of our grand children then came home and opened our gifts , will have ham and all that for supper.

Will I whined so long that DH got me a stand mixer I can't stand mixing some thing by hand so cooking just became easier, and he got me a spice rack and there was some spices I didn't have.
    It was a good Christmas.
DH's chemo has ended and his Radiation treatments end Mon May 14 yeah...!!
