    Default Frugal Friday - Feb 5/10

    Busy day ahead here, need to pick up the house, dust, sweep & vac my area of the house. BF is coming down for a visit this wknd however these chores need to get done for the week regardless. Also need to touch up the bathroom too.

    Other things I need to do today:
    * pick up a few items at the grocery store
    * laundry after 9pm
    * gym if I'm feeling able bodied enough to do it
    * bake more banana bread
    * make a hm mac & cheese bake for dinner and defrost taco soup while I'm at it
    * shuffle my dad around for his errands before the wknd - he likes to hide out at home from the chaos on wknds

    There's probably more but those are the 'musts' for today.

    What do y'all have planned for today?
    Have a great Friday!

    It's snowing and I don't really plan to get out today.

    I'll work on the laundry and deep clean the kitchen. Get ready for the weekend.

    Dinner will be stuff from the freezer and pantry. Fish sticks and chicken tenders and mac n cheese, green beans.

    So far, we have taken it pretty easy. DD and I took a bath. Now we are going to drop off some table cloths and pick up our dry cleaning. Pick up DH. Go pay property taxes and run a few other errands. Try to get in before the Mardi Gras parades start.

    Default Friday, 2/5

    Today will be a busy day for me, & today is payday! Hurrah!!!
    Have to set up a 'game/cook' plan for the family gathering dinner next Saturday.
    1. go to work 8 hrs
    2. deposit paycheck, get cash for this week grocery
    3. review family gathering dinner menu
    4. set up grocery list for that dinner - I've a bad habit of buying too much stuff, must follow list this time
    5. preparing some of the ingredients & freeze for that dinner

    I feel like there is so much to do, but so little time.

    It's payday so the bulk of my day will be running around shopping. Sticking to the list like no-one else this time. It is snowing so there will just be indoor chores caught up. Cleaning the floors and two of the bathrooms. Dinner will be meatball and noodle soup.

    Happy Friday everyone.

    Brought my lunch, no plans tonight. Might look at my budget to see if I can fit in a "fun" budget even if its a small amount.

    Happy Firday everyone! It's rainy/cloudy/yucky here today.

    I dropped Charlie (our schnauzer) off at the vet this morning for his yearly vaccines and to get groomed. Then I picked up some groceries and household things. Had lunch with a friend. Then back to the vet to pick up Charlie.

    Finally home and plan on staying here for the rest of the evening! Still need to cook supper and finish up some laundry. Other than that, it should be a relaxing evening.

    DH called from work a few minutes ago and asked me what I was doing. My response - ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
    DS spent the night off last night so he is not home. DD is at school and DH at work. I've spent my day sitting in the recliner, or on the couch, wrapped in my electric blanket, playing on the computer. I've loved on my dogs and cats, watched some TV and eaten some chicken. The only other thing I've done is talk to my daddy on the phone.

    No plans for the rest of the day either. This is a ME day and I love it. Although, I do miss my rug rats and will be glad when they get home.
