    Default Frugal Friday

    No school today...last day before school starts. So, I've got to:

    1. Get a haircut. *DONE*
    2. Have some routine pregnancy bloodwork done. *DONE*
    3. Run the dishwasher and empty it.
    4. Do dd's laundry. *DONE*
    5. Do adult laundry.
    6. Pick up in general around the house. *DONE*
    7. Make plans to carpool to a bridal shower on Saturday. *DONE*
    8. Think up favors for sil's baby shower.

    I'm not going to be doing much today, I've caught the kids' head colds, and I feel awful. My throat is sore, and my head feels like it weighs 50 lbs.

    I'll be doing laundry and light pick up, and that's about it.

    Good morning
    Leaving soon for a full day of fun shops
    I am picking up Jenn and Jacob and going to an upscale restaurant for lunch
    Then 2 bank shops and a grocery shop.

    *Homeschool Friday - art, life skills and health - the fun stuff!

    *Clean up the dining room and put my sewing machine away (I'm done sewing Cmas bags)

    *This afternoon I may do some scrapbooking, or organized my craft supplies for the couple of Cmas crafts I've decided to do

    *No DS home from college this weekend... so tonight after we drop DD off to "McD's and craft night" with a recreation group she belongs to, DH and I have the evening to ourselves - so I think we'll go out for a coffee and browse at a new Barnes & Noble that's just opened.

    Then I'm coming home to prep the kitchen for the Chili Pepper takeover (Im doing it in chili peppers)

    This is not going to be a very frugal day for DH and I. But I'm not complaining! I'm dropping the kids off with my SIL to spend the night, picking up DH at work and then heading home for a quick shower before we head out for our mini vacation! We're going to dinner tonight with the greeters from our church (our good friends head it up and are treating everyone to dinner at a beautiful restaurant) and then staying across the street from that restaurant at a very upscale hotel. I got a great rate on it through expedia.com and DH and I have been saving up for this for quite awhile! Here is a link to it!

    Today, I have to work til 4pm. Then, I need to:

    Unload/load dishwasher
    Study
    Figure out something easy for supper
    Relax!!!

    Chelle, hope you're feeling better soon!

    Debbie, have a wonderful "date" with your DH!

    Today I had to work. It was very busy, short-handed, and stressful, and I'm glad I was done at 12:00. I remember now why I only work 12 hrs per week.

    Tonight is a dinner shop at Olive Garden. DH has been chomping at the bit since I told him about it last night. He can't wait to go, lol.

    Just waiting for the girls to get home, and I put Courtney down for a nap. I need to get out of these scrubs and put some comfy clothes on.

    My hardcover Weird, NJ book came today. Not frugal, but a must have in our house. I'm disappointed that I'll miss a book signing due to a marching band competition, but DD1's friend Duncan said he'll get my book signed for me.

    It's raining here, and of course I'm keeping posted on Isabel.
