Finally, a day alone. DH is skiing for the day, I am going shopping for a baby gift from a bunch of us, looking for a new work meeting outfit for me-have coupon-then cleaning, cleaning and cleaning. I started all of my seeds inside and the extra clutter is making me crazy, it looks like piglets live in my house.

What a busy day here too--

took dd to preschool, went to post office, and then to grocery store. I forgot the most important thing I went there for, so it looks like I'll be headed back when I pick dd up from school.

My dh is working all day and night tonight (it's year-end at his work, and he's the Accounting Manager). He needs to close the books for the year and will be working from 8 AM-midnight

It's beautiful outside here today, so I'm trying to do the inside stuff before dd gets out of school so we can go play outside later.

Tonight we will make sugar cookie Easter cookies.

    Have a nice day everyone!

Wow, I feel like I did well today!

We had cereal and toast--cereal was $1.38/box so I figure that we spent about .60 on three bowls. Toast? About another .15. I dropped the kids at the sitter (had to work for 3 hours) and went to make $ instead of spend it! We (boys and I) went to get eggs on a loss leader for .39/doz. Yay--36 eggs for just over a buck! I also stopped at the used comic/game store and bought my boys a used game a piece to go in their Easter baskets. Game boy games are waaaay to much new. These cost between 5-10.00 there and rarely even look used.

I know, why do we have Game Boys? Well, my 9 yo WON one last summer so I had to buy a second one for the 8 yo. I would have taken out a loan on my house after I listened to the bickering for a week!
