    Default Frugal Friday!

I guess I'll post today! Yesterday was a whirlwind of parades, bbq's and fireworks! Today I have gotten a few things done. DH is home, but is outside working on the deck. Usually I can't get a thing done when he is here!

    Today so far I have:

Washed and hung out 2 loads laundry
    swished and swiped bathroom
made 2 apple crumb pies (recipe is in Country Kettle, I'll bump it for you!)
Fed, changed and played with Courtney
went to lunch with DH and his friend
    cleaned out car from yesterday
got DD's to do most of their chores
    mopped bathroom floor
    bagged up newspapers

    Now I need to:

take down laundry and put away
make dinner or order pizza-DH decision
make VBS shirt-running out of time, VBS starts Monday!
go through old magazines, cut out stuff, give them to my mom\
watch CSI from last night (we taped it!)
relax and read my library books

    Breakfast: Tea
Lunch: Iced tea, grilled chicken quesadilla
Dinner: Either grill or order pizza out

Have a great day and weekend! Stay safe!

Today I took a vaction day from work!

Met sister at IHOP for breakfast, then she and I shopped at Costco. I put a lot back before checking out because I remebered my July Grocery Challenge!

Came home and unloaded car, clipped coupons that my sister gave me.

Raced off to Ralph's for good deals!

Spent most of the day outside since the heat wave has finally broken

Weeded my garden and picked some radishes & lettuce
    Weeded all the flower beds
Transplanted some marigolds and planted my Clematis plant
Transplanted some chicks & hens that weren't doign so good were I had them.

Mowed the front yard, watered the garden, flowers & the spots were we put down some grass seeds.

Did 3 loads of laundry, hung outside, folded & put away.
    Ironed dh work shirts

Touched up the paint in the bathroom

Checked my bank books against the bank statement that came in the mail today...everything balances

Did my reward programs on the pc, checked the online newspaper for yard sales tomorrow.
