TGI Friday!

Well, off and running early. Got everybody off to work and school after breakfast. Still have to pay bills, do some housework, get a shower, go for a 2 mile walk, shop, walk again with DD her BF, make Dinner and settle in for the night. Hoping to get my pattern picked out for a sweater I want to try knitting. (See Heather, you inspired me to give it a try)

What are you all up to today?

DH is working from home today (he usually does this once or twice a week)

Totally messes up my routine, and today is really gonna be bad... he'll be on conference calls most of the day which means it needs to be pretty quiet around here. I need to run a few errands so at least I'll get out of here for a couple of hours.

Yeah for knitting

It's a COLD one this morning. I actually had frost on my windshield! The kids are off to school w/ lunches packed, dh is on his way out the door w/ lunch packed. The dishwasher is loaded & ready to go. I need to pick up a little bit then vacuum the downstairs. I also need to iron my uniforms for this weekend. I should probably toss a load in the washer too...

I'm gonna do a mystery shop today so I'm about to get off of this machine and get after my day. I'll be:

~working out
~shower/hair/makeup
~press my pants
~do my nails
~fluff a few more of Gripey's shirts to haul to the consignment store
~load all of the zillions of clothes that I've got ready to go to the aforementioned consignment store
~drop those things off
~do my secret shop (I'm excited this one is gonna pay me well!)
~go to the bank
~run by Walmart or Beall's for a certain type of belt to wear over a longer shirt
~come home and eat leftovers for dinner
~pack for our trip to see our ddaughters tomorrow.

~TGIF is right on!My DH is coming home tonight! The kids were getting on my last nerves last night and my baby girl woke up with a runny nose this morning. URG. Today I'm gonna wash diapers, mop the bathroom floor(Ahhh...Potty Training!),change bedsheets, then treat myself to a pampering session this afternoon while the kids are napping.~

Made it out the door on time. Got the cake for the co-worker set up and ready before anyone arrived.
Today I want to catch up housework and laundry so I can relax this weekend.
Take DS for his driving test (fingers crossed that he does well)
Finish upacking boxes in the front room.

Already I have written out the bills for this pay period, moved some of the extra to savings and mailed out checks for extra payments on the credit cards.

Well, I am just exhausted. My boss has been here for 3 days this week and when he's here we are so busy doing this that and the other. That's why I haven't talked to y'all all week. Yikes! I'm having withdrawals practically. DH has made fun of me about missing you all so much. Crazy guy. I'm busy this weekend too, but I did buy myself a new book and I'm gonna read it.

Thanks for all the warm wishes and prayers. Spent 2 hours in doctors office yesterday and $1,500.00. That was just the downpayment on my gallbladder surgery which will happen next Wednesday the 11th. Got all my tests and such out of the way. Will need to go by the out patient surgery place on Monday and pay the remaining $2,550.00 so they'll work on me. So glad we got a check today! Hit up one of my other general contractors for an early pay on Monday. Fortunatly it's a small family owned company that we've worked for for years. Also we've been on their job for the last 2 weeks and haven't taken a draw yet, soo they are coming across. DH is watching me like a hawk because the doc says I can still have another attack before the surgery and just to ride it out. If the pain gets too bad go to the er and get a shot.
Well we'll see how the wekend goes.

Well, today has been spent mostly napping. I did spend some time sorting coupons. I also managed to make dinner, take a shower, and make it to the rental office to get a package that came in the mail.

Sure was glad to see Friday get here. Stopped by after work and picked up a few groceries. We haven't been out to eat in a month so we splurged tonight and went out for chinese. (We used to eat out at least 2 to 3 times per week, so I feel like this is quite an accomplishment) Trying to get a load or two of laundry tonight and that's about it for today.
