    Talking TGI Friday!

It's 30 degrees here with a wind chill temp of 24.....brrrrrr!

I have furniture that I need to clean on the back porch so that I can strip and then refinish, but I don't think I will get around to it today, so will just stay inside and do laundry, baking and cook an early supper. Dd has her Sunday School Christmas party tonight. I hope the wind calms down a bit before then. It's wicked out there today!

It's cold but sunny here today. Our wind chill is -17C (I think thats 0 or 1 Fahrenheit), but it's supposed to warm up to about -1 later today. I hate that I can say the words "It will warm up to -1", because that isn't really warm at all!!!
    Have a good day everyone!

It's only 4 degrees here right now. Had to drive DH to the train station this morning. He has meetings in Chicago all day. I wish I could stay inside all day, but I have to walk the dogs, run some errands and pick DH from the train tonight.

    Stay warm everyone

It's freezing here, lol so I will most likely stay inside all day until 3:30pm when I have to go do my housekeeping job.

~ Wake up and wake DD up for school (DONE!)
~ Drive DD to school (DONE!)
    ~ Make Bed (DONE!)
    ~ Clean Bathroom (DONE!)
~ Clean up computer room (DONE!)
~ Pick up DD from school
    ~ Go to housekeeping job
~ Come home at 6:30pm, reheat dinner
    ~ Clean up after dinner
~ Relax as I am actually sick but managed to get tons of stuff done already this AM.

Hope everyone has a great day!

It's 50's this morning in FL. The wind chill is making it seem colder than that. I know that seems whimpy compaired to other folks.

Woo Hoo, it's Friday! I don't work on Fridays, so it is one of my favorite days of the week. I have to go to the photography studio in the next town and order the pictures we had made of my DD16 for her Sweet Sixteenth birhtday. She also has a basketball game this afternoon. She is on Junior Varsity at the high school. I need to go to the bank and make a deposit. I really don't want to go out. It is 19 degrees here. There is ice on the pond beside our house. Brrrrrrrr!

It's a little after 6:00 here and it's 57; supposed to get up to 75 today. Sounds like a good day to get some Christmas shopping done.

It was a whopping 1*F this morning. I think we're up to 10*F right now.

Not much to do here today. I finished up almost all of my wrapping yesterday. The rest will be done on Christmas eve. I need to run the dishwasher, put away the folded clothes, run a couple more loads of wash, and run to the commissary for a few things.

    normal daily routines
    2 loads of laundry
    Kitchen:
    Flush sink w/boiling water
    Mop floor
    Clean coffeemaker

    Diningroom:
    Dust surfaces & objects
    Mop floor

    Livingroom:
    Dust surfaces/objects
    Mop floor

    Office:
    I'm done

    Bedroom:
    Dust surfaces/objects

    Bathrooms:
    Clean toilets
    Mop floors

I also need to finish signing & addressing the Christmas cards.
    Make cupcakes

hmmm, I think that's it. I'm hoping for a pretty easy day. I'd like to sit down and catch up on some shows I've recorded.

Again cold here - unfortunately. We finished up our 'school year' yesterday and I was looking forward to a day to catch up on some of my household stuff - but find myself playing referee to house-bound children. DS has also started smiling and cooing so I find myself just wanting to sit with him and enjoy that. So, needless to say not much has gotten done so far. What I need to do:

Pack up some coffee to return for a refund - somehow a one-time order got marked as a repetitive order and I have ended up with a large supply of coffee.
Make Christmas Card List and start working on getting the cards mailed
    Empty dishwasher/Reload dishwasher
3 Loads of laundry (in progress)
    Sweep/Vacuum
Cook Chicken to use in Chicken Pie for dinner
Go through last weekend's coupons and clip

Today was a great lazy day. I still can't believe it was 53 out yesterday and only 27 today!

I didn't leave the house to run errands. I didn't do laundry. All I've done today is caught up on my email, started a pot of turkey soup, pumped some milk, and run the dishwasher.

DS has been sleeping just about all day today, so I've done a lot of just sitting while he sleeps in my arms. I know that these days are rare, so I'm just trying to enjoy it.

    Evening all...
Hope all that were under the weather are feeling better.

Sara-your post gave me that warm, fuzzy feeling-enjoy these days!

It was freezing here as well today.
I am officially in full out baking mode-from morning till night....I actually have been getting up around 4:30-5:00 a.m. to get started.
I stop once in awhile to check my mail, visit here of course, and go to DS's basketball games.
I am fortunate that my business has been going well so I will not complain.(too much)
I need to go food shopping and do some laundry.
    Have a great evening all!

It was cold but sunny day here. It was in the teens this morning and we are now at balmy 44º here . I went to the holiday gala at work this morning, it is always a lovely event and goes on between 6:30a and 9:30a and they serve a delicious brunch buffet with beautiful decorations and Christmas music. I always enjoy it. After working for 12 hours, it is a nice ending to our work day.

Here at home, I got chicken in the crockpot for chicken and dumplings tonight, did a quick pick up and dust and then took at nap for a few hours. I will be working on learning to knit tonight. I picked up a book at the store this morning "I taught myself to knit" and it came with 2 sets of needles and lots of other things for learning to knit. I taught myself to crochet using the same type of book so I hope I can figure out knitting.

I hope everyone has had a lovely day today.
