    Default Finally Friday

I'm sooooo happy that it is! My ds and ddil come in tonight (late). We haven't seen them since July! I can't wait. Anyway, don't have a lot to do today.....It's still about 23 here again this morning, 3-4 inches of snow still on the ground with ice under that but the roads are melting during the day b/c the sun is shining. How's your weather?

    Today:
    ~workout
    ~straighten up
~pkg. 4 batches of fudge that dd and I made yesterday for gifts and snacks
    ~sweep floors
    ~2 loads laundry
    ~run dishwasher
~make detailed list of Xmas shopping to still be done (only about 3 things)
~go into town, do shopping, kill time to pick ds and ddil
    ~come home, enjoy~

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

    Good morning

It's kind of sunny, kind of cloudy, and a little chilly at 34*. We're supposed to get up to 40* and maybe have a few rain showers this afternoon. Yup, it's gonna be a green Christmas

I have a lot to do today. It's the only day this week where I don't have to run around to appointments or errands. The only thing I've done thus far is take out dinner to thaw & gotten the kids & dh off to school. I still need to:

    ~wash,dry,fold, put away laundry
    ~clean bathroom
    ~clean kitchen
    ~wash dishes
    ~make bed
~clean up living room, dining room
~call oral surgeon to reschedule dd's follow up
~call work to find out what time to be there today
    ~make sugar cookie dough
~wrap the last 4 presents (Christmas eve pjs) I forgot about

So far I have run the dishwasher and washed one load of laundry. I still have to:

    Keep working on that laundry
    Make the bed
    Clean the upstairs bathroom
Pick up dh's car from the repair shop when it is ready

Wow Friday already "Woooo-----Hooooooo". This week just went a flying by.
It's about the same as yesterday weather wise...35 and very cloudy, there calling for rain. I got most of my deep cleaning done, but still need to:
    Vacuum
    more laundry
take down the laundry line in the spare room (don't want to cloths line mom and dad)
straighten cabinet in downstairs bathroom (remove hubby's reading material)
    clean and straighten refridgerator
thaw out ribs and salmon for smoking on Saturday
    recover drip pans on stove
    clean microwave
run some vinegar threw coffee pot and clean
    clean heater filter

wow I still have lots to do, everyone have a good one.

It's starting to rain here. DH is working on the kitchen. We should have countertops and a sink in 3 weeks. I have been washing the dishes in the downstairs bathroom. We have the stove and oven in now so I can cook again. Just relaxing this afternoon. Tonight I will put on the fire and finish wrapping the grandbabies presents. I think there is a Rod Stewart Christmas show on tonight. I won't miss that. I have seen him in concert several times and LOVE to hear him sing!

    Well, so far I have:

*Emptied and started to load the dishwasher
    *Showered and dressed
    *Went to the post office

Other than that, I really don't have anything else I need to do today. Kind of just relaxing and hanging out. And I'm going shopping with my mom tonight (she asked - I'm all done my shopping).

Didn't do a whole lot today. Swept and vacuumed as usual and did 3 loads of laundry. DH is home for 12 days!! Yes 12!! He's using up his PTO for 06. I hope we don't drive each other crazy
