Not much here either, DH has a Christmas party tonight at his job and my home is pretty much neat and tidy, only little things today and then off to my housekeeping job to be there at 4pm, then home again to get ready for the party (I hope we dont have to stay long).

Waiting for my new bed to be delivered. They called at 7 a.m. this morning and woke me up...lol saying that they'll be here between 10-noon. DH and I have to get the old bed out of the bedroom and I want to vacuum before the new one gets put in.

Other than that, not much. Probably a couple of loads of laundry...as usual.

Just got back from a run outside and soon will be heading to Dh's dad's house for Christmas there. His dad picks up these amazing stuffed breadsticks, they're like calzones, for lunch. I can't wait!

and then tonight my best friend is having a party. Her cooking is incredible, all from scratch.

So, lots of eating today, which is why I really needed to get the run in first thing.

    Have a great day!

    Today we tackle the kitchen.
We have been cleaning out rooms all week long, and the kitchen is last. Then we will be getting ready to paint over the next few weeks. I really can't get over how much stuff accumulates!

Tons going on here today. I have lots of laundry and cleaning to do. As I go through each room I am also decluttering small items that have somehow accumulated around the house. DH (who has been off work for a week now) is finally going to tackle a bathroom project. I have already swept and mopped, cleaned my bathroom, vacuumed, did the dishes and done 3 loads of laundry. After I am done with the house I hope to have time to go to Kohls to make a return. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Brrr! It's a chilly one! Woke up to 15* here. Finally it's winter temps rather than the 50s we've been having. Not sure I like it now

Dh & I took the van up to have a tired repaired. We got a nail somewhere. Thank goodness we bought the road hazard plan when we got the new tires last time. We've had to have three repairs done, all for free!

Now I have to get dressed & take the kids out shopping with their Christmas money. The mall & Sam's Club. Someone grant me the strength & patience LOL!

I still have laundry to do (it's like the mail, it just keeps coming!), the dishwasher to run, and I need to vacuum downstairs & get the litterboxes cleaned.

DH has today off so we are...

    (drumroll please)

...finally buying our new car! Ok, well, new-to-us car. We're going with either an 03 or 04 Honda Civic (we already found both cars in the dealer inventory, DH just wants to test drive them and make a decision). So our first stop is the bank to see what kind of financing we can get, and then our next stop is the dealership!

    Wow for FRIDAY !
No more bank stops on fridays, except cash if I need it.
(my automatic deposit kicked in and is already posted)
I usually do my deep clean, but I did that Tuesday after everyone left.
Maybe just a light wipe and straighten.
Of course there is always laundry to do.
Looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend, no parties, no quests, need some quiet time to recover from christmas.

    Good afternoon.

I've just been doing the "bare minimums" here this week. Next week, I need to really get some cleaning done.

Today I just made egg salad, paid a ton of bills that I put off until after Christmas. It was really nice to get all of December's bills paid and even a couple for January!!

And I've done my morning and afternoon routines.

That's about it for me until Tuesday, then I'll really kick it back into gear!

This morning i took DS to his drop off play class then i did a return that was a little out of my way normally.
Went to BJ's (which is like Costco) and did my grocery shopping for the next 2 weeks minus 2 or 3 things i dont want in bulk.
    Did some laundry
Put some dinner in the crockpot
Paid the health insurance bill onlnine
Now Im going to do some $$ stuff figuring out some automatic deduction amounts and stuff and fill out my class registration for next semester so i can fax it in on Tuesday.
Hopefully have a hot cup of tea and enjoy the calm
