Frugal Friday!

What is going on today? I'm up early, didn't sleep well, dh left fo Tennessee last night to work for a week. I hate when he is gone, especially after watching scary movie!!!! Glad I have big, vicious dog! Not too much today. Need to do some much needed mopping in the kitchen, water plants, get school supplies organzed, figure out meal plan forfirst week of school, read a little, crochet a little, knit a little. Going to be

today! Will probably be taking a dip in the pool later. Have a great day!

I'm up and getting ready to head out for a walk, it's too hot later in the day!I need to work on skimming the upstairs rooms, they don't get used often so it doesn't need much. Just still needs to be done .I also have a lawnmower man coming to mow the hill and do the weeding.This afternoon I am going for a hair appointment, so the day will be full. Hope you all stay cool!

Not much going on here again. Which is alright with me its been a crazy summer. The kids will be going to dad's tonight and I will watch a movie i rented (Factory Girl) and veg out..eating leftovers..if there is any left after lunch!

Small day for me daycare wise so I haev few things I can do while kids are busy w lunch, snack, or art. When we are outside I am going to tackle the car to get ready for field trip next week. So another cleaning day. Its like spring cleaning month! I love it. Next month I will have all areas clean I hope!!

Going to be hot/humid day so I may put on sprinkler for kiddies for bit to cool them off and wear them out! End of the week treat lately! That and some cookies I will be making in a little bit. Using up little oatmeal and raisins and walnuts I have. What a treat for them!

Off the pick up petfood
Visit the bank
Pick up gift certificate for bday gift
Take plastic bags back to recycle center
Post a few more things to freecycle
Finish packing van for trip to Ohio next week
Finish sorting out piles in garage - some for trash, some for freecycle some for Ohio
Take DD to cheerleading pratice
Take DD to skating rink
Go to Dance Hall for dat night with DH and Bday party
Prepare for Plumeria Society meeting Tommorrow am
Start and Finish 2 loads of landry

Good morning!

It seems to have cooled off her a lot! I'm thinking I may attempt to start the lawnmower & mow the lawn for dh since he's been working a lot lately and it doesn't look like there's any end in site...he lost another employee last night

What the heck ever happened to giving a 2 week notice when you're ready to leave a job???

I have a bunch of laundry to fold, the downstairs needs to be vacuumed. Other than that, I'd like to do a WHOLE LOT of knitting

IT way too hot to do a thing outside. My patio needs swept but it will have to wait till dark. The weather man say 107 with the heat index.

Im going to clean the floors and give the windows a good wash. NOt much else. Im just counting the minutes till dh gets home tomarrow.

Morning all. Today will not be frugal. Taking my car to the shop to see if the dye they put into it helps them find and fix the leak in my a.c. I need it its way above 90 here.
I have already cleaned all 3 bathrooms, fed the cats, cleaned their boxes,
emptied the dishwasher, made the bed and showered. Might go with a friend to the cheese store. Other then that just coming home and taking a nap. Have a good day

Not much going on around here. I have a few things to pick up and I need to vacuum. I already made the beds, swept the kitchen and dining room and put away the dishes from last night. The rest of the day will be spent hanging out with the in-laws.

Not much going on here today. School starts Monday so I need to make sure that the kids have all of their school supplies bookbags and lunchboxes ready for Monday.

Did some yard work this morning before it hits 100 outside today.
Need to go to Aldis and get some produce for lunches next week.
Need to go to the bank while I am out and about.
Might stop at walmart and price match some stuff that the store was out of that my husband stopped at last night ofter work.
Need to pick up around here a little and I have 2 boxes of stuff to declutter in my bedroom.
The I am going to start reading the book Maxed Out that I got from the library.
Dinner is going to be on the grill tonight so not to much prep there.

*have a few more coupons to file
*do daily surveys

*heat up leftovers for dinner
*go through mail
*done survey dad got for me & getting FREE cat food

*need to re-arrange a few things in kitchen & office
*get all donations ready to go for next weeks pick up

I hung the three wire baskets that had been cluttering up my kitchen waiting for that to happen. (Felt good to get that done.)

Made a mushroom omelet for breakfast with salvage mushrooms. Got out the recipe I'm going to use to use up most of the rest of them (I bought 2 1lb boxes).

Cleaned off all the asst. papers from the front of the fridge and cleaned it. Found a a place to stash the change jar money that's been counted. Started a project page in my day book for it too. Talked to DH about the change challenge and debt in general.

We had leftover chili (DH) and leftover corn cheese soup (me) for lunch, eliminating the partial can of chili and the margarine tub of soup (yeah!).

This afternoon, I'm going to price/tag items to go to an antique store (books mostly, but some housewares), wrap (for shipping) a gift for my niece in Scotland, and work on decrudding my kitchen some more and getting a handle on our debt too. I need to file papers, etc.

This is probably way too ambitious. I wonder how much of it will actually get done?

It's BEAUTIFUL here in Ohio today, after all the storms and tornados yesterday the critters and I are having a low key day.

so far:

morning chores
got hubby off to work
1 load laundry
started reorganizing dish cupboard
swept (neverending job with 5 dogs and a cat)

Still to do:

dishes
more laundry
evening chores
figure out dinner

and most important I think I deserve a NAP

*We are also cleaning the windows
*dad got his office chair today so we will put that together
*really need to do some re-arranging today so dad can have his chair in the office & I can have mine in the kitchen

*cleaned the front yard
*trash & recycle day so bins are at the curb
*garbage can is soaking {WOW it needs it}
