Frugal Friday

Good Morning! It is so cold here this morning. Can't get over it. I love fall!

So glad it's Friday-payday.

Of course, payday only means time to write out more checks for bills.

Should be a frugal day, though.

My list for the day:
sweep
sweep porch
pick up
dishes
write out bills

Beautiful morning here as well. My foot is much better today, think I will resume some of my duties. It drove me nuts to sit around yesterday! Don't worry, I'll take it easy. I think today I will pull apart my bookcase and dust the books/shelves.

Feed and change baby *DONE
2 loads of laundry-one to dryer, one to hang *DONE
clean bookcase *DONE
dishes *DONE
make some goodies to eat-we have none! *DONE
pay bills-this has been on my list all week!
make bed
send mystery shop receipts *DONE
plan dinner *DONE

Make HM noodles for Manicotti for supper
Bake bread ?

Good morning ladies! Tonight is Homecoming for our school! Have the mums all made for the boys to give out!

Make dessert for homecoming as a prize
Sew on patches to DH's shirt
The normal cleaning...lol

good friday morning! hope all is well with you all. today i have already:
*made bed
*picked up in living room
*put away yesterday's dishes
*put last night's dishes to soak (meatloaf)

still need to:
*sweep kitchen
*mop kitchen
*wipe out fridge
*wash dishes that are soaking
*fold laundry, put away
*wash laundry
*figure out what's for lunch and dinner

Morning ladies
Today is going to be a fun day
I am picking my daughter up to join hubby for lunch. I have a bag of goodies to give her for the baby.
Then I have a mystery shop at a bridal salon, I have to pretend I am getting married and try on wedding gowns. This ought to be fun

Today is another frugal day here. Just have to purchase some sugar and that will be all.

All I'm working on today is:

- quilting. I have almost finished the hand quilting on this quilt so I should have that done this morning. Then everything on the quilt will go soooooo much faster. It seems like I've been working on this thing forever. But it will bring in $300.00 plus the supplies so it is well worth the time I'm spending on it.

- will also be doing homeschooling.

Happy Friday everyone!

I need to run errands so it won't be too frugal for me!

I envy those of you in your posts above saying it is cool where
you live! It's still very hot here & I need to do some yard work.

Done:
*made bed
*2 loads of laundry
*cleaned breakfast dishes
*filed paperwork
*made shopping list for today

To do:
*go to grocery & Walmart
*finish 1 load of clothes
*much needed yard work

B = toast, applesauce, coffee
L = sandwich, chips
D = eat out

The weather's nice here as well.Cool for Alabama.
Looks like it may rain so I won't be hanging clothes outside

Today I have :
*made bed
*one load of laundry washed,dried,and put away
*cleaned kitchen counters (looks so much better now )
*Picked up toys
*Grocery shopped (only needed a few things)
*went to the bank

Still to do:
*2 more loads of laundry
*wholesale candle order (6)
*ebay candles (3)
*help Steve with the floor late this evening (Any volunteers?!?!!!!!)

I'm sure I'll find something else that needs to be done.

Oh Debbie! I wish I had that mystery shop! How FUN!!

Today I made my own baby wipes since we were out, and the store here didn't have the kind we get in stock..

But dh called me and said he got *38* packs!! WHEW I think we are covered for a while

(they are a dollar for a pack of 80)

So far today i've:

Stretched
Fed /changed ayla
Ate breakfast
put away dishes
swept floor
washed a load of dishes
Talked to mom on IM
Checked posts/emails
Made some playdough for Ayla..she's loving it

dh had bought a dropcloth, so the floor doesn't get messy

I'm waiting for some things to get delivered today, then I can put together my coupon binder

For the rest of the day:

mop floors
clean toilet
bathe ayla..and i need a shower
go for a walk
do a load of laundry
get together things for santa cruz if we go tomorrow
take newspapers out
Go to ralphs for cokes @ 1.99 a 2 pack and london broil @ 1.47/lb
Bake or cook *something..don't know what yet..
Paint my nails
Tan(hopefully)

breakfast: strawberry honey bunches of oats with soy milk and raisins, half a banana, two or thre glasses of water
Lunch: Rye toast, scrambled eggs and salsa sounds good right now!
Dinner: Something from the freezer,...maybe tator tots, and a healthy choice mixed grill dinner, orange juice and popsicles..and mixed veggies

Hello All,

I have been very busy all week,wish I could post more. Today has been pretty frugal. No plans tonight, dinner was leftover roast, rice, peas. We will just have a peaceful night at home, which is a nice wind down to the week.

Today is a beautiful day again so I have been cleaning out one of the closets and putting things that need to be taken to the dump in the storage room and I cleaned out a big box that had some junk in it & I think it will be big enough to pack up my craft room.
I also organized my "pantry" {basically for right now my pantry is the closet shelf but it's a start} and I found a bag of sugar that had fell so now I have enough sugar to last awhile

I got a big full size bottle of body wash today just for doing a survey plus I get $5.00 for using it

I also filled out a few more surveys for some other companies
got a trade pending
and 2 trades mailed out
I also washed the dishes
put the dishes away
got the garbage out
I also took my fan apart and cleaned it eeewww it was nasty.
I'll probably go through more things that I'm leaving my dd when I move, she's getting more & more & I'm packing less & less
