I mainly lurk, but thought I would chime in for once!

    - I submitted my final exam for the CareerStep Course I have been taking online for the past year to become a Medical Transcriptionist. I had 48 hours to take the test, and I submitted it with less than an hour to spare. Now I wait up to two weeks for it to be graded. Yikes!
    - Once I submitted the test, I exhaled! I think I have been holding my breath for two days!
    - I spent some time applying at Mystery Shopping companies. Now that I am home and have some flexibility, I plan to start doing some shops. I've done one so far and have two more scheduled for next week.
    - I need to start cleaning the house.
    - I think I will take a long walk before picking up DS from school. I need to get back to exercising regularly now that my course is done and I've left my full time job to work from home.
    - Pick up DS from school, take him to get his glasses fitted, and then spend some quality time with him tonight. DH is out of town and DS has been so patient when I haven't had as much time for him while taking my course.

Hope you all have a great Friday. It may sound a bit strange, but I find it interesting, and oddly comforting to read about all of your daily plans. Maybe it is because I live a thousand miles from my family so I don't get the daily interactions in person. My mom and I do email each other at least daily, and it is funny how the emails are mostly much like what is posted here - plans for the day, etc. It's nice to be able to keep up with the day to day, even from so far away.

Ok, I've gone on too long. I hope to see you all around more, now that I will be home.

    Lisa

Well. it's 9:45 am & so far I've done plenty. Yay! Me.
    4:30-6:00 am -- work,
after that made my way to food4 less. Drove kids to school. I babysit for niece & nephew, so they're here. Fed them breakfast, cleaned out fridge, made jello, got the beans cooking, got tomatoes & chili's cooking for salsa. Made mac n cheese for kids lunch. Put the groceries away. Cleaned out car trunk. Made my bed. Dropped off a payment.
    Next i'll
sort laundry for a load, maybe 2.
    wash dishes
    clean my bathroom
    vaccumm
enter babysiting hours in time sheets, to get paid, yay! it's the end of the month, time to get paid.
    put the laundry away
prepare dinner, I'm making chicken tostadas, yum.
    make kids beds
    take out trash
    work 8 pm - 9:30 pm
get stuff ready for yard sale, tomorrow
    go sell cans & bottles
    pick up kids from school
    feed kids, DH & myself
    go to bed

Of course, not in the order listed, but pretty much this is what I'll be doing today. Boring. Have a HAPPY Friday!

After work I went to the bank to get some cash. Then I did a major shop at Dollar General. Tonight after cooking supper I intend to lie in bed and read the paper, watch TV, and in general just veg out.

Ohhhhh lucky you!!! I have a good friend in VA (moved there from CA) who has been waiting patiently for a Target for three years! They are finally building one not too far from her and she is so excited. Wal Mart is just NOT the same!!!

I cleaned some and did general straightening up. Got an early start on laundry too. I had off work today because it is youth day at our county fair. I'm going to relax some now.
