Frugal Friday!!!

Good Morning everyone! I am usually back in the bed by now. I work second shift (get home late), and then get up with dh when he goes to work at 6 am, then head back to bed for a few more hours of snoozing, but I can't this morning. Our battery for our truck is being recharged, so I have to make sure they take it off charge at 9:30 or it will burn the battery up. Sooo, I am afraid to go back to sleep. I just know I'll oversleep an hour, and the battery will be useless.

Anywho, I am so glad it's Friday-payday!

Of course, payday means bill paying day as well.

My list for the day:
sweep
mop
vacuum
pick up
straighten up porch
dishes
laundry

Morning!

I'm feeling a bit better today, so I guess I'll go clean the church and get that out of the way. Won't be my turn again for 5-6 months.

I need to bake some snacks for lunches today, so I guess I'll turn my attention to that. There's been some complaints among the ranks.

So Far:
Dishes

To Do:
feed and dress Courtney
straighten up house
go to grocery to retrieve the change they didn't give me yesterday

vacuum and dust
clean church
make bed
baking day (great day for this-it's raining!)

good morning ladies!

it is rainy here too in indiana. more like fall every day!

today i'm not going to do much! my priority today, besides the kids, is getting things packed for our weekend away! of course gotta shower, fix lunch later, sweep cookies out of carpet(!), spray sealer on mom's mailbox (finally finished), clean out truck for the trip, etc, etc, etc........and whatever else comes up!

Good morning everyone. Today its suppose to snow here so won't be doing much outside.

I need to:

- finish painting second coat on one wall, and paint first coat on 2 other walls.
- fold clothes from yesterday
- homeschool
- finish sewing project (almost done)

I am so excited!! Tonight Dh and I are going on our first date in 6 mos!! Oh I cant wait!

So far:
*made bed
*prayer/devotional
*ate
*load in washer

To do :
*hang load out
*girls up fed and dressed
*run/unload dishwasher
*vacuum, sweep and mop all floors
*pay bills
*go thru in basket
*pack for weekend trip w/ inlaws
*get readyfor my date tonight

Well...I hear the girls talking, better go get them up and ready!

Morning! At work, sipping coffee and trying to wake up!

Just working today then relaxing at home. I hope to spend some time cleaning and organizing the house this weekend. I've neglected it too long!

I also need to take inventory of the fridge and pantry and make a shopping list.

Well the kids still have off from school due to Isidore~they have been off since Wednesday. There has been some flooding of roads,and lots of tree limbs down. So today I will...

Hey all! TGIF! DD has been home all week from pre-school. She hasn't been feeling well. I have enjoyed having her home so much, don't want her to go back on Monday

We also have been having lots of rain. I know we need the arin, but do we need to get it all at once

So, the dd's and I will stay in today. I have a myster shop to do once Dh gets home from work. Otherwise, I'll just clean a bit, and play with my girls

stop yawning!

My brother in law is in town for awhile since his boat is in San Diego so he will be coming over tonight for dinner and probably a movie.

Yard saling this morning..... HEY CJ..... I bought a pot belly stove for $7.00 this morning.... I would like to use it for an outdoor chimney on the patio.....what do you think ????

well now my phone lines are back up and running (the whole town went down) i did get some stuff done though, laundry, post office, my glasses are here picked those up (still getting use to them though)bought cat food, so today i have only spent 12$ total, made the bed then stripped and remade it. Still need to take the donation box to the church or the resale shop, which ever one i wind up at, more laundry, dishes and more painting on the wall in the DD's room. then i think i will take the evening off.

Homestead Mamma! Where do you live so that it will snow???:surprise: And I thought it was cold here in Quebec, but it doesn't talk about snow yet...

Well, I 've been to my ds school to help out for math corrections.
I've been taking it easy and now I'm about to leave to back to school...Patrick will be celebrating his birthday with another friend at school. I made little cakes and we'll be singing happy birthday with the whole class.

Lastnight I got a LOT of stuff to decorate the living area with!

It looks SOO girly now I'm sooo happy! I only spent about 150$ all in all too!

(i did try to find stuff at the goodwill but no luck) I got curtains for two windows, a pretty off white antique'd shelf and two smaller decroative shelf type things, two small potted fake flower arrangements ,a hanging fake plant (looks so real!) a new picture that matches everything else and new placemats that match the curtains

I guess that was it!

so far I've done:
50 min. of yoga
Ayla's bath
changed her sheets
cooked dh grilled cheese for lunch
took out trash
did dishes
started laundry
vacuumed
showered/hair/makeup
Talked to my sister a really long time

Still need to:
Go to Albertsons for milk and bread
Go to Forever 21 and exchange a shirt, ditto at Ross as well
Go to Target and buy my cousins wedding gift
Pack for a beach trip

Breakfast : frosted mini wheats, soy milk
Snack: half a slice of cheese, mixed veggies, apple
Lunch: two cheese biscuits with chicken and gravy and peas (it was so good!)
Dinner: Filet mignon (never made it lastnight ..we were so busy putting stuff up on the walls)
