LOL! I feel your joy. I went with cloth diapers with my daughter, was oblivious to the whole thing first time around with my son. After he was potty trained I received a catalog with cloth diapers in it and fell in love with them. I did not have my daughter to be able to use them, I swear, lol, just worked out that way. While pregnant with her I ordered a LOT of them, came to over $400! Just try to reason with a pregnant woman. The day the box came it was better than Christmas! They were AMAZING.

I ordered a lot of the organic cotton terry diapers with the snap fasteners and the Bummi Wraps, also ordered a bunch of the one piece ones with the printed flannel outside and velcro fasteners, and a bunch of the doublers. I loved them so much, got many odd looks from people, and some thought I was actually doing a disservice to my daughter for not buying the best disposables. Usually the same people who didn't breastfeed because it was gross or weird. Their words, I BF'd for three years with the two kids combined.
After my daughter was potty trained, I had to go to the laundromat since the washer had broken (thank goodness it waited until after she was pottytrained). I saw a woman there folding her laundry and noticed there were some cloth diapers, I asked her if she would like to have my daughter's since she was no longer using them. She was excited. I don't think everyone would get that lol. We exchanged numbers and she came to get them a week later.
Not only are you saving some bucks, but doing wonders for the environment, and most importantly, the health and well-being of your child. I hope you both are very happy with them! YAY for cloth diapers!!

~Woo-Hoo! I know the feeling. I gave away most of my cloth diapers so that I could buy new ones one if/when we have another baby. Cloth nappies are soooo cute!~
