So far I've never paid more than $1.99 a lb. I know prices are going up but so far the chicken hasn't jumped that bad. I just got some a week or two ago for $1.89 a pound.

I buy a 3 lb. bag of frozen for 6.99. It lasts longer and they aren't all one solid chicken ice cube.
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

I bought Snaderson boneless chix breast last weel for $1.69lb. I fond it to be a little tough. Usually I can find sales consistently for $1.99lb. That's when I usually stock up- those are usually the store brands. Most of the time they are fine.
Sam's Club sells Perude for $2.99lb. It's more expensive but it is the most tender of the brands,IMO, and there is less(very little) waste when I trim it.
Your price is a good price but not great. Probably worth it to but some until a better deal comes along.

I buy the 3-lb frozen bags. I won't pay more than $5.97 a bag, and stock up when there's a $3.97/bag sale (every few months).

Wow! I can't believe how cheap it is for you Americans! We regularly pay $5.90 -$7.67 per lb. of skinless boneless chicken breasts. One reason I buy them skin on and bone in. I can debone and deskin them at home, and it's $2 cheaper per pound!

I won't pay more than $1.99 a pound.
Wow...the prices in Canada are unreal.

For about a year now we have been buying the fresh boneless/skinless breasts in the meat department of Sam's for $1.97/lb.
We have not ever bought the frozen ones in a bag, so I can't say what we would pay for them.DD (19)

I like to pay $1.50 or less. I don't buy it if it's over $2/lb though.
Just yesterday I got a bag of the frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts. 3lb bag for $4.47 came out to about $1.40-something per pound. And like LadyV said, they aren't in one big chicken hunk, I can take out one or all if I want. I also think the frozen ones stay juicier once cooked. They are awesome on the grill.
