Default $10s a week on groceries!

I am posting this link under Frugal Living, because this gal definitely knows how to live frugally. I'm impressed! And people wanting to know how Extra Care Bucks work at CVS, she's got that down pat, also.

    Impressive Couponing

    i think this is wonderful!

BUT... where I live, coupons are going EXTINCT!
most papers dont put 'em in anymore... a lot of stores REFUSE to take the ones you print off yourself (wasted paper/ink anyone?!).

    it's horrible!

Sometimes the local grocery I go to will have some coupons in their paper... but not always for something "I" would buy.
    it's nice they do that.

i know my local Kroger's doesnt take printed (even w/Manufacturer Coupon on it!) coupons... NOR do they take ones from the papers (IF there are any in there)... the reason I got... "because of the Kroger Plus Card, the mark downs already in the store... I'm saving more than enough."

Sorry... kroger's - IN my area - is FAR more expensive than the other stores I usually go to... and the quality is POOR!

otherwise, this lady deserves an award for her work!

WOW....she is great. I would love for her to come "hold me by the hand" and lead me through some transactions like that.

I love hearing stories like this. It is an inspiration. Yesterday alone DH and I bought over $350 worth of stockpile items for under $135 using coupons. Every little bit helps!

ME TOO! I want this lady to show me from start to finish: comparing sales ads, matching the coupons, all the way up to the purchases. I work on it weekly, but my savings are maybe $30 a month total with coupons and sales.

I noticed she shops at a CVS, where I shop. If I ever get behind her in line, I'm going to take notes. She's doing great!

Default Heres how I see it...

It definately matters on which stores allows you to use 2 coupons on the buy1 get1 free item...I know my grocery stores don't allow that..I have done that at CVS(the only store that allows that in my area)..and thats how I got several..several bottles of free body wash and shampoo & condition..She doesn't mention anything about the stores doubling up to .99 or a $1.00..it makes a big difference in what you pay in the end..My stores also will not except internet printed coupons...As far as CVS..well I can't see wasting money on buying the ECB's products that are FAR (even using coupons can still add up to lots of money the first time around) unless it's something you need or will use...but thats just me...

I live in the same general area as the woman profiled and the grocery stores where she shops (as far as I know) only double up to .50.

I taught her everything she knows

I have been shopping this way for well over a year and most days I still can't believe how much I can save.
