    Dont try this! It is a complete joke-my husband sent this to me in an email and it looked like a good idea! Well, look it up on the net more before you try!

    I went and (STUPIDLY) bought a lantern battery thinking I would see what happened. Once I got home I just kept thinking about it and how it did not really make sense, so I searched the net and found that MANY MANY MANY people have tried this and they did NOT get AA batteries.....they got odd size batteries although a couple did say they got 4 D batteries.....I decided to keep the lantern battery for one of our lanterns and not risk it.....but look this up before you do it!!
