Default How many fans and/or air conditioners do you have?

So this morning I bought another fan. As I am walking out the store I am thinking to myself "lets see how many fans do I have now?" Well, I have 5. And this is for a one bedroom apt. Hmmmm? I do have central air but for some reason I think the fan part would cost more to run. Noise and storage is a big factor for me. I really dislike loud fans. So, how many fans and/or air conditioners do you have?

We have 6 fans and 4 room air conditioners...but, we never use all of them at the same time.

    ~central a/c
~a ceiling fan in DD's room
~a ceiling fan in the back living room
~a fan DS keeps in his room (very cool looking motorcycle decor type fan)
~another fan for where ever DH wants it

I hate to be too hot so our a/c runs constantly. I cannot stand for the temp in the house to get above 70*. I should get a few more ceiling fans installed.

We have one fan and 2 air conditioners. We only run one A/C at a time though. The livingroom one in the afternoon/evening and the bedroom one at night time. The stand fan we use in the back office because none of the A/C's tend to reach it.

I have one oscillating fan, two small box fans (that I put in the windows, they are not weather-proof so I only do it when it's not raining and I'm at home) plus two ceiling fans.

The oscillating fan is my main fan, I have it on me when I sleep at night, since I'm on the top floor and it gets hot.

The ceiling fans I don't use very much...is it just me, but I've never found them to be very helpful, maybe I just have cheap/bad fans!

I don't have a/c at all, 14 years now without it, but I think at some point in the future I will get one (either a portable one, or the ductless ones) because it seems the summers are getting hotter and hotter.

We have 3 fans. We used to have a window a/c but it was old and stopped working and about that time the complex I live in started charging 200.00 for a may through october season to have the a/c (understandable since they pay utilities) but I refuse to pay that much for something I am only really putting to use from June to August. If it gets that bad we will head to the mall and window shop.

We have central air, which we really haven't used that much this year...for an hour or two at a time, every few days. We have ceiling fans in the office, living room, dining room, and kitchen. We have a small fan in ds and our room.

We have 3 air conditioners and 3 fans. Our house is 1488 sq.ft and it gets HOT! Upstairs hotter then down. One air conditioner is in our room, one in the upstairs hallway, 2 fans in the hallway, one ac in the LR window and a fan in front of it. The temp is 72 right now. We run them all during the day and then at night only the bedroom one. There goes my $100 savings last month on my electric bill!

We have central a/c. But, it must really be muggy/humid for me to turn it on. Otherwise, we have those dual fan window fans, 3 of those, large fan that sits on the floor, small kitchen ceiling fan. I do have a box fan as an extra. On our screened in porch, we have 2 ceiling fans. Does anyone know the savings from running fans compared to a/c? I also keep curtains drawn when it's sunny on that side. Fans only go on when the sun isn't hitting that side of the house.

2 standing oscillating fans - one in each occupied b/r, 1 box fan in the computer room, one big floor fan in the living room, a ceiling fan in the kitchen which we never use (doesn't do much of anything circulation-wise) and one old, small window A/C mounted directly in the wall in the living room. We rent an old uninsulated house and it gets HOT in here during a heatwave. I only run the A/C when its 95* or over and then we have to close off all the rooms b/c the A/C is really only good at keeping the livingroom/kitchen cool. Otherwise the electric bill gets out of control.

we have 3 window a/c units and 5 fans. A window unit and ceiling fan in DD's bedroom, box fan in DS's room, ceiling fan and a/c unit in living room, box fan in kitchen, and small table fan and a/c unit in master bedroom. We only use the living room unit during the day (with ceiling fans), and the bedroom units are used only at night (with the box fan carrying the air from DD's room into DS's)
