    Talking Graduation Party update

Well, thanks to everyone who prayed for us , sent well wishes, and good Karma our way...... The day didn't start out very good, I woke up at 3;30AM couldn't go back to sleep, so I got up at 4am and made coffee , watched a little tv, read the paper and finally around 7:30 got started. Well, the tv was not giving me very good news, and I kept praying and hoping, but with no luck. It rained and rained and rained some more, but my hubby and some friends went ahead and put the tent up. And it rained some more. And my daughter FREAKED ........ cried and cried and didn't want to have a party, no one is going to come.....I said that we couldn't do anything about it now, so we had the party, and it kept raining (not real hard, just enough to be annoying)... and people came and came and came..... and my little house was full and they were even sitting outside under the tent..... Great Party, she did so well, and everyone was wonderful..... Thank God we didn't get the terrible rains they had south of us, but my brother lives in Bloomington, and they had close to 10 inches of rain and flooding, so he was unable to make it. But I just wanted to thank all of you who were thinking and praying for us, it turned out ok after all, and of course Sunday was just beautiful.......go figure........

Glad to hear the party was a huge success. It's one of those stories that you're all gonna talk about, around the Christmas dinner table in years to come (and laugh..... ). Remember, these really are the good old days

I am glad you were able to still have the party despite the rain. Congratulations to your daughter on her graduation!
