Today we will have a ton of Mango's dh is bringing home. He said he has to go to a house where the lady has a giant mango tree but she is very allergic to them. She can't even touch them , so when dh showed interest she practically begged him to pick them.

Good luck with your fishing!
Sounds like you'll have a freezer full in no time!
A lot of people up here both fish and hunt to keep their freezers full... It's fairly plentiful (and regulated so it'll stay that way). The only trouble is you have to drive really far to do a lot of it...we're realizing that it's not worth it since gas costs so much any more...Kace - married to Dh 12 years

Throw away barrels of citrus!?! Arrghhhh. :-D
We live in a family lake, but rarely fish. Unfortunately, I prefer it fried and my weight doesn't need that. I may have to develop a taste for baked fish.

Love those scuppernongs and muscadines. I take care of watering in my father's vineyard.

We do serious wild blackberry-picking, complete with weedeater, lopping shears, bug spray, sun screen, etc. We make jelly mostly.

Sounds like a great idea but not sure it'd work for me.
1. I don't eat meat or seafood
2. No berry bushes here in the middle of town.
Love,
Jen

Some berries, brambles, rosehips, camomille, hazelnuts, chestnuts (edible ones). Usually in small quantities because we do not have that much 'bare, unpossessed land'. I don't think you can actually keep the fish you've caught (even with a licence) it's mainly just for the sport
.
I forgot nettles: we do have bunches of that! (I think you can use it for soup and it's rich of calcium).
