Question We are moving into our new house...

the end of the month. Would you try and eat from your stockpile and pantry, so you don't have to move as much? That is what I'm doing, but now I'm worried about after we move there won't be much left.

I think you should eat from the stockpile. That's why you build it, so you can fall back on it when you need to. Plus with the associated costs of moving you will probably be grateful you have a cushion as moving can get very expensive. Congrats on your new house!

Yes, use the stock piled items. Less to move and you can rebuild as you can at the new home. Congrats on the new home

Congrats on the move and new home!!

I would also eat from the stockpile!! Save the $$ you would have spent on groceries and add it to what you have after the move, you can shop and build your panrty back a little too!

Ooooh, a new house! I went through that three years ago and it's one of the most exciting things I've ever experienced. I agree on eating through the stockpile. It might also be good to make some extra meals this week, freeze the rest and make them so that they're easily microwaveable. We actually bought extra food once we got here, but moved pretty much everything else we had because we weren't stockpiling at the time.

Congrats on your new home! I would use the stockpile too. It's a good way to help "rotate" your stock while moving.
    It is what it is.

I would continue using it the way you normally would. What is the difference if you move it from your old house or you move it from the grocery store? Either way, you have to move groceries.

Congratulations!! Follow your "gut". Eat from you stockpile knowing you will and can rebuild it.

Just wanted to add another thumbs-up on using/rotating the stockpile. Moving many times in the last decade, I can attest to it being a good idea, and it's kind of fun to rebuild the stockpile with some new deals. Wishing you many happy years in your new home!
