    I knew some companies were doing the downsizing but didn't realize how many were actually doing it until I read this article.

    It's is awful, IMHO. At least if they raise the price we are aware of the change, but this way seems so much more sneaky.

    I noticed they have been doing it. I usually check the price per oz (or lb or etc). If I do that, I can tell what's still the best deal.

    I've noticed the unit prices are not always available or in consistent units, so a calculator is necessary to make sure I'm getting a good buy

    Thanks for the heads up. Even though we might not buy these particular products I am willing to bet others are starting to do it.

    I didn't realize it until I opened a can of green beans one night and I was like umm thats it? I looked at the weight and it wasn't just me it was really less...it is so sneaky!
