SquareTrade Warranty - anyone know ... ?
Hi!
I was wondering if any of you might have had any experiences [good or bad] with a warranty company called SquareTrade?
Yesterday I bought a new [used, I mean] cell phone from someone on Ebay.
On their auction, they provided a link to a warranty called SquareTrade and for I think it is $6.99 I can get a 2 year warranty on my cell.
This does include used cell phones as well as refurbished ones and since I paid $60.00 for it, if anything were to happen [mechanical wise] and it can't be fixed within 5 or 7 days, can't remember which ...
Then they'll reimburse me for the $60.00 I paid for the phone.
From what I understand, the only catch is that the Ebay person I bought the phone from offers a 30 day warranty and the SquareTrade wouldn't kick in until 60 days after purchase.
If anyone has had any dealings with this company, please let me know - if I get favorable reviews then I'll most likely go ahead and buy it.
Thanks for any and all help!
Love,
Jen
