My finds at Macy's big sale today...
Let me first say, I've had this "exchange card" in my purse from Macy's since January worth about $17. It was from when I took back a shirt I had bought my dad for Christmas. When I took it back, the shirt was on a good sale and since I didn't have a receipt, they gave me this "exchange card" worth the difference. Since I wasn't expecting the sale price, this came as a nice surprise! I wanted to spend the amount on the card today so I didn't lose it or forget about it....
Anyway, I haven't shopped at Macy's in months and very rarely before that, so I didn't know what to expect or what I might find there. Well, we needed new sheets.....most of the ones there were VERY expensive, even on sale. I didn't need a "name brand" or anything, so I looked and looked until I found a set of deep pocket king size sheets (250 count) for $24.99 (retail $60). So, my out of pocket expense on the sheets was a little over $8 after using the exchange card.
THEN, while I was in line, the lady in front of me was buying 3 stainless steel, copper bottom pans with clear glass lids. They are called "windsor" pans and look like a regular sauce pan. Anyway, she turned around and told everyone else in line that with the sale it was only $8!!! I started to leave after I had made my purchase, but I had to check out the pans. They were NICE! The pan retailed for $30 and with taxes, it came out to almost $9. I only bought one for my niece who is a young, aspiring chef. It will make a nice Christmas gift for her.....I didn't need any new pans for myself, but I couldn't resist that one!!!
Anyway, I got $90 worth of items for under $20 and couldn't be happier!!!
Thanks for letting me share!!!

Great finds. Congrats. Macy's in too far for me to go - even if I had money.
