Congrats. I make tea almost every day - also kool aid. I need to start putting it in a container to take when we go somewhere so we don't stop and get a soda.

That's great. I've never understood why folks would buy tea out. It's real cheap to make at home. We go through gallons of sweet tea ( well of course if there really any other kind?!? lol) every day.

I make mine in a pot on the stove or suntea works well too. I buy my tea bags 1.00 for 100 at walmart. The brand is "National Cup", even though they are the cheapest kind I think they taste the best. I use 5-6 tea bags per pitcher so it's super cheap. I also use umm...2 and half to 3 cups of sugar for each of those pitchers so that's probably where I spend all my tea making money.

Ahhh, sweet tea I made a big jar of it today too I used maybe 1/2 cup for the whole jar and it was just fine. Once hubby runs out of Dr. Pepper, I'm telling him to drink that because I'm tired of running out to Wal-Mart at 10:30 at night to get him more

We do water bottles out. We have refillable ones. If they spill, then it is just water and it evaporates. Though, we have had some interesting spills (like on a child's crotch).

If it is hot, I have some of those reusable blue ice things. I throw them in the cooler with some other water bottles (larger ones) and toss them all in the cooler.

I make mine the same way (even the same brand of tea bags LOL), but , um, I only use a cup of sugar for a gallon. Dh would love your tea. He says I don't make ours nearly sweet enough.

Good for you to cut out your "latte" factor!

I am trying to stop drinking soda. I didn't drink any at home today.. but I worked tonight and soda is free for me at work...

Maybe that will give me motivation to WANT to go to work... coca cola!
