I got my clothes press iron
Oh my word! I love love love this thing!
I got a Singer clothes press to do dhs work clothes.
He told me it costs us $100 to $125 a month for a wash and starch and press--
I had no idea~sigh all that loverly money wasted...
I paid $279 total for it.
It is huge and it works really well. It took me some time as I am still learning the best way to do differnt clothes and also the buttons on the machine--I love the huge burst of steam it makes.
When dh got home and I showed him the Wrangler dress pant and the button down cotton work shirt he was really impressed.
Now I need to get faster at it lol but I can also see how this item can be very dangerous also.
I talked to my ex mil and my Mom today and they both explained to me how ladies of the 50s used the soak starch and towel method for starch. I can do that!
Now the hardest part--deciding where to put that extra hundred--cc or car lol!?The math never lies, budget in INK!
Amount of Free items 2012 $391.33

Debt #2 12/31/12 CC $901.88
Debt #3 12/31/12 $3648.83
Madness, mayhem chaos...my work here is done!

That's great news. I've been wanting a garment steamer, but the press looks like a neat thing, too.
