    Smile A breakdown of savings

Okay I did dhs uniforms with my Singer presser. The presser cost me $279.00.

Now dh was getting 20 shirts and 20 pants washed, and starched at a cost of $2.50 each garment at about $100 a month.

I spent $279 on my presser.

Now I did 10 shirts and 6 jeans yesterday. From washing, starching, hanging and pressing it took me 3 hours round about or about 3 minutes to press a 2xl dress shirt.

cost of a month of starch --about $6

Cost per garment--.15 cents each plus my time(free)

Saving me $94 a month plus the cost of washing and using the press.

    Pretty good huh?

Sounds good to me!! That is expensive for uniforms. The guys in the shop here pay 13.00 a week for 13 sets. But look at it this way you can also do some of you clothes too!! that is great!

    That's pretty good.

I never saw the appeal of a drycleaner when you get your own stuff pressed at home for less. After spending time in the military, I could outpress stuff better than the drycleaner could.
