Talking Update On My Little.. Situation

For those who read my angry last post about my truck being broken (stupid fuel pump) and my DH not getting paid - my truck IS fixed and we have been paid - All caught up on the bills and more (Christmas shopping has started - Michaels had an awesome sale on their seasoned candles, arts/crafts and other things for my DIY Baskets && I got everything for DD1's 4th Birthday which is not until the end of Oct but I'm due in the middle, hehe) DH also moved up to "manager" position at the shop and has enough work to last him at least another five years, LOL!

What a good day.. what a good day!

oh WOW! What a change! Good for you! Let's hope those paychecks are more regular and that they don't stop paying for overtime now DH is a manager. That's what happens at my DH's job.

haha yeah. The next one is scheduled for this week already! They're starting to get paid which helps A LOT. He'll still get overtime - I think they just gave him the title because he's pretty straight forward and can get everyone in line within a few seconds if it needs to happen (all bout the Italians, I'm tellin' ya). A good turn around for the shop and us, I love it!

They better not burst my bubble again - I only have about 8 weeks left of being the tough little cookie I am (at least for a few months, then I should have a schedule again and be ready to rumble, LOL)

Very glad you got paid and that your situation is improving!
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

    I'm so glad for you..........
Ok, so now the frugal mommy is going to come out and say:
"Be careful to not just go spend it all cause you have it and it's burning a hole in your pocket, you never know when something like this whole situation will come up again, and you will be really grateful for the nest egg that you put away."
Ok, so back to this "YEA!!!!!! I'm so glad you finally got the money that was rightfully yours to begin with!
