Angry No good sales this week.........

I got the sale ads for this coming week and there is not ONE good deal! NOT ONE! I guess I won't be doing any stockpiling this week unless I hit SAL.

I wasn't so impressed either. That's okay, we're saving by not spending!

We HAVE to go shopping on the 12th. I plan on only getting a few things to get us by until the next week and hoping for better deals then.

I think there were a few non-food deals in the Rite Aid flyer.

Superstore finally has a decent sale on chicken ($2.29/lb) and if that sale applies to boneless, skinless chicken thighs then I am set for stockpiling this week. They usually run about $4/lb. They also have a 40% baking stuff sale so I can get some new cookie sheets and a bunt pan and other stuff I need for this winter.

Superstore is also having a sale where if you buy $100 in groceries, you get 10c/L off your next gas purchase. At $150, it's 15c/L and at $200+, it's 25c/L. Given that my mom is coming in Tuesday and we plan on taking her to the mountains this weekend, it's perfect!

I don't need ground beef but I do need chicken in my stockpile now. They also have disposable razors, etc on sale which I need to start stockpiling. We'll see how the deals are when I go over later today to do my 2-week shopping trip.

I got a few good deals over the last week. My favorite was Crest toothpaste at Kroger 10/$10. I had 2 75 cent coupons/1 tube and 2 1.00/2 tubes. It wasn't much, but it was better than anything else I had seen recently, lol.

My local grocery store has a few really good produce deals starting today that I'm excited about, but I'm having a hard time remembering what they are-need to look at the ad again.

Sherri-what part of WV are you from? (Forgive me if I've asked before and forgotten.) I'm in between the Kanawha Valley/southern coalfields.

Walgreens has Scott Tissue on sale for $1.99/4-pack with the coupon on the front page. If you have a $1/1 coupon from 7/27, it's a pretty great deal!

I've had a great week of shopping! LOL All You magazine (sold at Wal-Mart) has 5 coupons for free stuff. So far I've bought 4 magazines for 1.77 each and have gotten over $80 in stuff for 5 bucks. So, 4 free Packages Oscar Meyer Hot Dogs, 4 free Kraft Dressings, 4 free boxes Wheat Thins, 4 free packages Kraft cheese, and 4 free things of Crystal Light. Hmm, might have to go buy more magazines...... My local grocery store also has coupons in their ad to make kellogs cereal and some other stuff super cheap. I combined the in ad coupon with manufacturers coupons to get 12 boxes of cereal for .38 a box, then there was another deal where if you buy 15 participating products you get $3 off an Our Family product. Ended up with 15 Webers seasoning mixes at .04 each with coupons, then got my milk for .15. Whew!

Yeah, I was by there earlier today and picked up some of their .99 dawn dishwashing liquid, with my .50 off coupon, I got them for .49 cents, not too bad.
Oh & some of the Colgate Total Advance toothpaste, I ended up paying $1.50 each for those, better than Wal-mart though, their's were on sale the other day 2/$6.00.

Someone mentioned a great price on Crest at Dollar General, something like $1.00 a tube?
If you have one close by (and need anymore toothpaste), you might want to check out their prices as well.

Oops, forgot to mention there were some .75 cent off coupons a few weeks ago for the Crest, .25 cents is a great deal!

    Yes, they do take coupons.

I love Dollar General, lol. Our local DG has Crest for $1.50/tube.

    On your next offer

I;m not 100% sure on the "offer" part, but the gist is that on your next shopping trip, you get the coupon off.
