Default Just ordered my Tightwad Gazette

I am so excited, I just ordered the complete tightwad gazette from Amazon.

I tried to get in in a library or cheaper off ebay but I am here in australia and just couldn't find it anywhere.

I also ordered your money or your life thought I may as wlel to difuse the cost of postage and it is also a book that I couldn't find in australia.

I guess in the next couple of weeks I will be busy reading and trying to come up with some good ideas and inspiration.

You'll enjoy Amy's book. I had all 3, then ended up buying the complete edition since more content was added.

Woo Hoo! It's got some great timeless advice in it, about overall living frugally but beware some of it will be dated (not too much though). You'll enjoy it and refer to it often for inspiration. I need to get mine out, haven't read it in a while now.

Hope you love it as much as we all do! Her info is seriously timeless!

I have the complete edition, but I pick up any of her books that I can find when our used bookstore has a "clearance day", cause I love to use her information to grap peoples attention about the frugal lifestyle.

I have mine and it's been awesome to have them. I got them for discount through Amazon.ca and didn't regret that purchase at all.

You are going to enjoy the Tightwad Gazette, but like others said some of the info is out-dated. It is still a very resourceful book. I need to pull mine out and read over it again too! It is one of those books you can read over and over again.

I have been reading Amy since 1993 (newsletter came first) then the books.

I had to ask what you think so far????
I would love to hear your favorite parts.
I mark my old books with tags of my favorite pages.
Then I keep the complete in perfect condition just in case they stop printing them someday.

I have given so many Complete TWG's a way that I have lost count.
To the best of my knowledge none of them have been read :..(

I hope you like it. It's the kind of stuff I like, little everyday tips vs some big investment plan.
